NECARE's RYAN HENRY To Guest On New DRACONIAN Album
- July 4, 2004
NECARE's Ryan Henry (guitar, bass, keyboards, vocals) has been asked to contribute his vocal talents to Swedish gothic doom metal band DRACONIAN's forthcoming album. Henry will be providing all of the spoken verse for the release, which is described as a "luciferian" concept CD. DRACONIAN will enter Studio Underground in Västerås, Sweden in September to begin recording the follow-up to last year's "Where Lovers Mourn", tentatively due in early 2005 through Napalm Records. Songtitles set to appear on the album include "Arcane Rain Fell", "The Everlasting Scar", "Daylight Misery" and "The Wings of God".

I'm kinda biased . . . I produced the album!! (and played alot of the lead guitars, when there is some)
Still though, I'd love it if more people would pick up a copy and give these guys a chance. If you dig that "classic doom" sound and feel like it's being washed away by time, Necare may be exactly what you're looking for.
These guys have been working on Necare for a long time now, I think it's definitely worth checking out. It's been released by FIREBOX!!
Thanks everybody . . . getting mentioned on websites like Blabbermouth is great for us.

Necare is one of those bands that is easily overlooked because of their genre and limited exposure, if you do give these guys a chance you will indeed love them. It's classic doom with just the right touch of melancholy, the vocals are outstanding the guy has such a brutal growl, if any of you guys like Doom at all it would be wise for you to give them a chance.
