NINE INCH NAILS Mainman Remixes U2

NINE INCH NAILS mainman Trent Reznor's remix of U2's "Vertigo" is scheduled to be included on U2's upcoming single, "Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own", according to NME.com. The single will also include the title cut, Bono singing "Ave Maria" with Pavarotti, and a DVD with a live performance of the single. In other news, The Times Picayune is reporting that Reznor has put his his magnificent Coliseum Street mansion in New Orleans on the market for $1.975 million. Trent, who had lived in New Orleans for a decade, has reportedly moved to the West Coast. (Thanks: The NIN Hotline)

and I don't care what this does to my imaginary 'metal credibility', but U2 have always been one of my favorite bands. However, the thought of Trent playing around with U2 songs...
not good. Not good at all.

This could be a very cool combination. Beats the hell out of U2 doing their usual 12 cheezy dance mixes of the same song. Trent almost always comes up with something interesting and has done cool things with far less to work with than U2.

Don't worry, bro, I've got your back on this one.
U2 are one of my favorite bands too.
They've managed to stay relevant and are a good live act. They beat the hell out of a lot of bands including the over-produced, under-talented Vegas act known as Motley Crue!

U2? Blabbermouth???
I like some U2 and dislike the rest. That iPod song kinda ruled, although they keep playing it over and over. This is like, after they did "BEAT ON THE BRAT" on the RAMONES Tribute. Great version.
Anyways, ain't no U2 around here, man. It's BBmouth here.

I ain't gonna rip on anyone for liking U2, because I definately have some questionable music that I listen to but...god I hate the fact that they could fart into a microphone once every 6 years and still manage to get rave reviews in such music stallwart publications as Newsweek and People. I hate U2

U-2 has always been in my top ten. Have been a fan since Boy and October. They have been around for a long time and still dominate. Trent probably did a good job on the re-mix. Don't want to see a million more,though. On Blabbermouth or not,it's rock n' roll.

Love U2 but not Nine Inch Nails. I hope Trent doesn't ruin "Vertigo" like he did with his remix of "Symphony Of Destruction" 12 years ago.
