Updated: GLENN DANZIG Fan Site Shut Down On Eve Of MISFITS 'Reunion'

The7thHouse.com, one of the oldest, largest and best DANZIG/ SAMHAIN/ MISFITS sites run by longtime fan, Devilman138, was allegedly ordered taken offline by Glenn Danzig on the eve of DANZIG's hotly anticipated dates with Glenn's former MISFITS bandmate Doyle. Purportedly Mr. Danzig wanted to be able to exercise more control over the information that was being disseminated over the web site and wanted to have the traffic directed to his rarely updated Danzig-Verotik.com web site, the official Internet home of the DANZIG band. The7thHouse.com message board members were reportedly shocked and left scrambling to find alternative means to remain in contact with one another after the sudden and unexpected demise of the eight-year-old fan-run and -supported web site. Unconfirmed rumor has it that this was related to the events of earlier this year in Tuba City, Arizona where Glenn Danzig was punched out by NORTH SIDE KINGS singer Danny Marianinho and an amateur video of the altercation was widely distributed over the Internet. Two makeshift fan sites have sprung up in order to keep the message board community together: The New 7th House and The House That Screams!UPDATE: Another The7thHouse.com message board member has contacted BLABBERMOUTH.NET to offer a different explanation as to why the web site might have been shut down: "As far as I understand, there were money issues involved in running the site and the webmaster voluntarily took down the site because of the money / time commitments. However, I believe he may have intended to allow the message board to remain functional, which may have been against the wishes of Danzig because it would be less moderated because it would no longer be associated with the official fansite. As for the board, it is been the hotbed of many rumors (especially concerning MISFITS reunions), so it seems plausible that Danzig would not want an unmoderated board running. All of this is based primarily on the webmaster's posts, some other posts, and my previous experiences with dealing with Danzig and the webmaster in the past. I wanted to send this because I believe that it is not accurate to report that Danzig 'ordered' the site shut down, especially due to any relation with the NORTHSIDE KINGS incident. Thanks." Villnave, a moderator on the The7thHouse.com web site has also contacted BLABBERMOUTH.NET with the following explanation: "I'm a mod on The7thHouse DANZIG site I can tell you that Glenn Danzig DID NOT contact Devilman138 and have him shut down any part of his site. Devilman138 had been considering shutting the site down for a while now, and in weighing all of the factors, he decided this was the right time. People on the board might have other theories and assumptions, but this was simply a site owner deciding to call it quits. Devilman138 has spent many years promoting DANZIG and creating what is probably the best fansite around. I am happy I was part of it, but given the circumstances, I agree that this is the time to call it quits. It's a personal decision and a tough one."

The more and more shit I hear about this character, the more and more I'm so turned off by this guy. I once heard that GD got all pissed off at Scott Ian from Anthrax cause Ian mentioned his name on the radio about him being in Misfits. Don't know how true that story is. But from gathering all the mishaps I've heard about this guy, I guess It wouldn't surprise me. I love a few of the Danzig albums! Mostly Danzig 3 and 4. So when ever I hear retared ass shit about one of my fav bands/artists, it's just a huge turn off. Ohh well. What can you do. Not every musician is cool and down to earth. I'm just surprised that I haven't heard about GD being KNOCKED the fuck out sooner! I guess he hasn't learned his lesson!

Someone on the 7thhouse board sent this story, they never mentioned the video and no real reason has been given yet for why the site was yanked, but Blabbermouth just had to toss that video shit in... I mean, why wait for an official source when you can take the word of a fan who has nothing to do with the place and have a prime chance to shit on Danzig? Oh yea thats right, this is blabbermouth where lately the trend is to just take the word of anybody as gospel as long as it is what the sheep here would like to hear...
And the whole reason why the person from the message board sent this story was to find a quick way to get ahold of other fans who wanted to keep in touch according to a post she made, so while it was an attempt at doing something nice, BM turned it into what they wanted it to be.

that will be the only claim to fame the northside kings will ever have because they're just that bad... fat dude was pissed because danzig had his band taken off the show, fat dude argues w/ danzig, danzig pushes fat dude, fat dude rushes him and gets a glancing blow off danzig (if you look at the video, fat dude's armpit makes more contact w/ danzig than his fist does).
maybe fat dude's odor knocked danzig out? how can you say danzig was knocked out? the video camera goes down at the same time fat dude hits danzig. have you ever been hit by a charging fat man? you'd probably fall too... have you ever gotten into a fight? have you won every fight you've been in? isn't this situation a bit old? is this the first fight danzig's gotten into and lost? will the northside kings do anything else in their time? maybe beat up hank rollins, another aging punk icon?

TWO informed members of the 7th house site were quoted in this story, saying that Glenn had NOTHING to do with the site being shut down, AND there was a post from the creator of the site verifying that...are you all a bunch of fucking idiots? The misleading introduction of this article simply proves what kind of idiots are out there misreporting stories and manipulating news, and how easy it is to manipulate a bunch of dumb fucks such as yourselves.
If you don't like Danzig that's cool, if you think he's an asshole even better, but holy fuck...this article just proves that this guy has such a huge bullseye on his forehead. Cleveland Thrashoholics TNT Jackson have pulled the plug on a release that was to contain all cover tunes. "We picked out some tunes by bands like Danzig, Metallica, Converge, Slayer, Superjoint Ritual and so on" says Lead Throat, Brent "Stonewall" Jackson, "But once we started learning them, we realized that we were just playing our own songs!" Plans for an all new original release are now in the works. Tentatively titled "Got MILF?" the band promises there will be "no songs to hold hands and skip around to." Label negotiations are ongoing. As a former member of The 7th House, I'm also asking the moderators to Update or flat out recant this story. The real information about this sad but easily explained story is found in the BBoards where you posted links too, it's just that this site apparently doesn't like Glenn, and will put up any negative info without reserching their fucking leads. Devilman138 ran that site in his Dollar, not Glenn. And unless the info you recieved came straight from him, its usually slander shit like the unfounded Vivian Cambell bullshit, and Fatty from North Side Kings pathetic staged attempt at a publicity stunt.
Get your facts right, do some fucking reserch before you post your "story". Or just put up another story about Dimebag to milk that Tragedy for any thing thats left in it.

ive been reading 7th house since i was in college...and thats been about 8yrs!! i cant believe its done, but the new 7th house shall rise from the ashes...there will be another kick ass site--AND IT WONT BE THE VEROTIK SITE
i dont think this has anything to do with the north side kings.
if he was in contact with BALCO, then it wouldnt have happened!

Thanks for writing that. Clearly Danzig chooses musicians who are as stupid, weak, racist, talentless, and boring as he is. The whole Danzig enterprise is PATHETIC, and we all know why that shitty website closed down: it coincided with the closing down of Danzig's brain (and eye) when he got beaten to fuckity by Danny North Side King. Dungzig's atrophied body is a stinking disgrace, which should not be seen! The whole band is laughable.
