SOLITUDE AETURNUS Singer Undergoes Surgery - Dec. 29, 2004
SOLITUDE AETURNUS frontman Robert Lowe underwent surgery on Monday (Dec. 27) to remove his gallbladder and is now said to be back home and recovering.

In addition to Lowe's gallbladder being in worse shape than expected, the doctor reportedly told Robert that a lower abdominal hernia was also found and repaired during the operation. As a result, the singer's recovery time may be longer than originally anticipated, which in turn will likely delay by a few weeks the vocal recordings for the group's new album, "Alone".

As previously reported, the group's first studio album since 1998's "Adagio", "Alone" is due late spring/early summer through Massacre Records in Europe and Olympic/Century Media Records in the U.S. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Waiting for the Light", "Essence of Black", "Sightless" and "In Hell I Burn". Download a demo version of the new track "Waiting for the Light" in Windows Media format at this location.

Hope recovery goes well, and that they fixed two problems in one shot. Judging from the demo song, this album will be worth the wait that all the delays are creating.

I actually had my gallbladder removed over the summer. Its not fun, but when all is over with, you feel a HELL of a lot better. And you lose a lot of weight. He'll heal up and kick ass in no time.

COMMENT | Fast recovery
