NINE INCH NAILS To Begin Touring In February?
- Jan. 3, 2005
|
|
According to a posting at Bloody-Disgusting.com, NINE INCH NAILS will kick off their upcoming North American tour in February and will concentrate on mostly smaller venues. No further details are currently available. As previously reported, NINE INCH NAILS have completed work on their new album, "With Teeth", and are currently rehearsing for the upcoming tour. The follow-up to 1999's "The Fragile", "With Teeth" was mixed with Alan Moulder ( THE CURE, SMASHING PUMPKINS) and is tentatively scheduled for release in March. "With Teeth" was recorded in part at Sound City Studio in Van Nuys, Ca., and features a guest appearance on drums by former NIRVANA drummer/current FOO FIGHTERS frontman Dave Grohl. NINE INCH NAILS' current touring lineup is believed to include drummer Jerome Dillon and bassist Jeordie White (a.k.a. Twiggy Ramirez, A PERFECT CIRCLE, ex- MARILYN MANSON).

anything off this new album? i know people get hold of albums online before they are released, sometimes. i am excited about the new NIN album. i thought that the last one was great. The Downward Spiral is still the best of them all, though.

White is a great bass player and Jerome is a sick drummer, I'm really looking forward to this tour, these dudes know how to rock in a sonically complex way

This will kill! NIN is amazing live, every time I have seen them they delivered in a huge way. They crushed on the Fragility 2.0 tour when I saw them in Madison. Hope they come to Miwlwaukee, and Madison as well, would definitely catach this tour twice given the chance. Come to Milwaukee Trent!

can say they match the intensity of a studio album with their live performances.
Nine Inch Nails can.
Its what Dimebag would have wanted

Last I heard, Tool was trying for a late June '05 release. Let's hope for a late summer/early fall jaunt. I doubt that it would ever happen...still, one can wish.
blessed be.

First off, just because you like metal doesn't mean youre closed to everything else. Secondly, most metal heads like metal because its supposidely the most talented stuff out there, but real talent doesn't have to be fast drumming and guitar solos(thats where metal is very talented). It's how the instruments flow and the meaning that is produced from it. A lot of Beethoven music isn't extremely difficult to play because plenty of people can do it, it's the creativity and thought that was put into it. Everybody interperets sounds differently, that's why everybody doesn't agree with eachother over what music is good and what is bad. NIN does a lot for a lot of people with it's creative sound and message. That is my answer to you overkill57. I hope you and others can now get a feel for where at least one nin fan comes from.
