H.I.M. Frontman VILLE VALO To Release Solo Album?

H.I.M. frontman Ville Valo will reportedly record a solo album this year that is expected to be released before the new H.I.M. CD. The solo effort will apparently be inspired by "country" music and Ville's recent work on APOCALYPTICA's "Bittersweet" video, and will include the songs "Under the Rose", "Face of God" and "Have No Fear", which were performed by Valo during a recent live appearance.
The new H.I.M. album, which is presently untitled, will reportedly be recorded at the Paramour studio in L.A. with producer Tim Palmer (OZZY OSBOURNE, SEPULTURA) and is expected to be released in September/October 2005 via Sire Records. Ville told the Finnish Iltalehti newspaper last week that he will write 13 songs for the album over a two-month period, because "I do my best work under pressure," he reportedly said.

H.I.M. rules!! I'm a fucking die hard metal fan, but every once in a while you just get in the mood for some softer music without it being totally wussy, and H.I.M. kicks ass for that. Any of you who claim to listen to nothing but metal 24/7 are liars. H.I.M. is in my cd player right next to Cannibal Corpse and Slayer or what ever else metal I am listening to that day.
Gay? How is H.I.M. gayer than any other band? And even if the members of H.I.M. are gay or bi, why do you care? What business is it of yours what they do in their bedroom? Have we forgotten about Rob Halford?
I am even gonna get a heartagram tattoo, somewhere in my sleeve with my Dimebag tattoo.

It is so damn funny how Metalheads are supposed to be the antithesis of right wing religious bigots..and then go and act the exact same way as right wing religious bigots. If you dont like HIM, fine, I honestly couldnt care less because the validation of my musical taste doesnt come from anyone on a fucking message board. However, anyone who uses slurs like those posted above are no better that the Jerry fucking Fallwel's who say that each of us are probably going to Hell for listening to "debil music."

hey kevvinn10....your freaking awsome and so is HIM....i love their music...all are very talented at what they do...and as for ville valo *sigh*...he is soo sexy and very a very talented singer....HIM wouldnt be the same with ville...i think its great that he is going to try to make it by himself...he derserves to try at least..i am totally supportive....

if you dont like H.I.M why the hell are you reading this and how does it concern you. i am a fan of them and think that what ever ville does shouldnt matter because he does write all the songs for him so what is theyre "soft" it doesnt make them less of a matal band you people seriously need to get youre heads out of youre asses and realize that theres other types of metal than slayer or canibal courpse etc. him is a band that i think is fucking awesome and if you hate him dont fucking read the shit about them. and if all youre gonna do is piss and moan about how theyre supposedly not metal you should just shut up

.. yes I do listen to other bands like Cannibal Corpse...Slipknot..always liked Type O Negative...There are a lot of laim metal bands and the metalheads should agree cause not All that is loud and that bashes is awesome...HIM play Love Metal..you blind metalheads read it and shut the fuck up, HIM are doing the best for this genre..and it is stupid to critisize them 'like they are called as a metal band" and you what them to play it,but Hello!..they play Love Metal!...I think you're brains are rottening in youre skulls.!...
