COURTNEY LOVE 'Harassed' Outside Los Angeles Courtroom

Richard Lee, a Seattle public access host who fancies himself a documentarian and claims Courtney Love killed Kurt Cobain, even though the NIRVANA singer died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound over ten years ago, approached and harassed Love outside a Los Angeles courtroom Tuesday (Jan. 11), according to Celebrity Justice. Lee approached Courtney as she arrived with her lawyers, shouting her name, to which Love responded, "Did they just let you out of the mental hospital? Leave us alone." "Why have you never responded to the murder allegations, Courtney?" Lee shouted. Lee has followed Love from courtroom to courtroom over the last couple of years, prompting Courtney's outrage. On one occasion he asked her, "In 1993, did you offer [a man] fifty thousand dollars to murder your husband?" Love responded with an obscene gesture saying, "You suck so bad!" On Tuesday, Lee's presence bothered Courtney so much that Sheriff's deputies detained and then arrested him for having an invalid press ID. "The weirdo just scares me, man," Courtney admitted to our reporter at the scene. "There's a lot of weirdoes." Read more and watch video clip at this location.

Kurt was fixin' to divorce her and pretty much retire from big bucks rock stardom...
Potentially leaving her with a tiny fraction of his fortune in a divorce settlement...
Her 15 minutes of fame were about to expire...
No motive there!
Even the detective she hired to find Kurt in those last days think's she was behind it.
Having met Kurt, Courtney, and known El Duce for many years I can only say it wouldn't suprise me one bit if she hired a guy(like Duce said she tried to hire him-and then he died) to whack her husband.
She's just that kind of person. A no-talent hack who will do anything to "make it". And "make it" she did.
And let's face, if Kurt had lived, today Nirvana would be in their rightful place of "where are they now?" rather than elevated into the pantheon of the greats with Hendrix, etc.
I mean, if one of the Bay City Rollers had died tragically at the peak of their fame, the BCRs would be right up there too. It's the nature of the business.

I never said I KNEW her, I said I MET her. Back when she was married to Falling James of the Leaving Trains. That was probably before your time. She shot dope in my friends apartment bathroom and puked everywhere. Great gal.
I also said I MET Kurt-also true. At Raji's in Hollywood, a couple of years before Nevermind came out. Also before your time.
El Duce-well anybody who hung around the Hollywood punk rock scene in the 80's knew him. I was a big Mentors fan (that was his band, in case you don't know) and we partied on many occasions over the five years I spent in tinseltown.
And although he was a self-described scumbag who'd go through your girlfriend's purse, he was also a pretty cool and funny guy. And, strangely honest. He might rip you off, but he wouldn't lie about it. That's just the kind of guy he was.
And if I was going to name you somebody who would be able to do the kind of job Courtney was looking for, Duce would have been a prime candidate to ask-not that he may do it himself, but he would certainly know somebody who would. He knew all the weird characters in town.

Okay, supposing Kurt DID commit suicide-you think that had nothing to do with Courtney?
But the hard facts present a good case for her having put a contract on the guy.
Another couple of weeks, and divorce papers would have been filed. She's have been SOL.
Ask yourself this: somebody with Courtneys money-why the hell wouldn't she just sue these people with their websites and TV shows-out of existance? It's what any other wealthy celeb would do in a case of slander or liable. She could totally bury them in an avalanche of legal costs. But for some reason she won't.
The most logical reason for this? Because these people (Tom Grant the detective she herself hired, and Richard Lee the TV show guy) would present too strong a case for murder. And all sorts of truly ugly shit would come to light. In a court of law. Under Oath. And that would be truly damaging. Because Kurt's family would then have legal grounds to sue her for all she's got. And then she'd be fucked.
No prints on the gun, spent shell found on the wrong side of the corpse, two-party "suicide" note, etc.
Courtney even had a rubber mold made of Kurt's HAND for chrissake? Forensic specialists agree that a rubber hand made from such a mold could be used to place incriminating prints anywhere...
Nowhere have I read about powderburn on either of Kurt's hands. But it would have to be there if he'd pulled the trigger. It's a fact. But it's never been mentioned.
Courtney buddied up to the Seattle Police before the whole thing went down, ratting out drug dealers in the area. A great way to befriend corrupt cops, huh?
But really, like I said before, even if Kurt did off himself, to suppose it had nothing to do with his miserable marriage is kind of naive, huh?
Before you go jumping to conclusions, why not read the Tom Grant's website? His take on the story is pretty interesting and will leave any open-minded and truly curious person scratching their head....
And always remember: Cops can be bought.

If you'd read Tom Grant's site, you'd know that he formulated his opinion AFTER he was hired. Courtney hired a detective to cover her ass. It makes her seem concerned. Also, after Grant informed her of his belief that it was not suicide-she kept him busy with various wild goose chase type scenarios. Whenever he got too close and started questioning her friends, she'd suddenly call him up out of the blue with some odd detective work she wanted done. Then when he wrapped the job, she was unconcerned with the results.
How rich is she? She owns several houses , all prime real estate. If she was hurting for money, that would be sold off to cover property taxes. But we never hear about her problems paying property taxes, do we?
Also, she receives royalty checks for Nirvana records to this day-and the recent box set (4 discs) sold 100,000 units in it's first week of release. Remember, that's four times the royality as a single disc. And Nevermind continues to sell well-it's passed the 10 mil units mark. In Utero is around 5 mil from what I can tell.
Remember MTV's unplugged w/Nirvana? They did a couple of Meat Puppets songs? Meat Puppets have sold a lot of records. But they got RICH from that one CD with two of their songs on it. Royalties add up when you sell millions of records. And records companies love to defer those payments rather than paying them out in one huge lump. It's better for the artist as well (tax reasons) So even if Nirvana stopped selling records completely today, she'd still be seeing checks for a long time to come.
Even if she was getting screwed on the royalties, she could still squash both Grant and Lee with half of one of her quarterly royalty checks. Easily. Those guys WORK for a living. The would never be able to fight even one high-dollar lawyer. So why doesn't she sic just one -even moderately priced- goon on them?
Remember, if Kurt had divorced her-she wouldn't be receiving any Nirvana royalty checks. Instead, she'd be living on payments for sales of Hole CDs and movie appearances-nothing compared to what she gets in the mailbox every three months but still enough money to live a more plush life than most of us can even imagine.
After watching the video accompanying this story, I could only wonder what kind of lawyer (remember those WERE lawyers standing next to her when Lee was "harassing" her in front of the courthouse) wouldn't turn to his client and say "Should we put a restraining order on this guy?" or "How about we slam this punk with a libel suit?" Either question would have instantly put a couple grand into that lawyers pocket-IMMEDIATELY. And a simple "yes" from her to either question would have immediately ended her problems with the guy.
And don't tell me that her lawyers are so concerned for her financial situation that they wouldn't grub a few extra bucks, either. I don't buy it. They're lawyers, after all.
The reason she doesn't slam any of these people with tons of legal hassles? It can only be becaue she knows that they're onto something. it would ruin her financially. The investigation of Cobain's death will never be reopened, that is for sure. But a civil suit would wipe her out.

The way I see it, there was way too much information out there that points to Courtney Love's involvement. This girl had/has no talent and if Cobain was set to divorce himself from not only *her* but also his *fame* then you could imagine how fast her fifteen minutes of fame would have been up.
And yes, she has had a somewhat strong career since his suicide or murder. How many films has she starred in? How many times have you seen her in the tabloids? If she had disappeared in the mid 90s do you really think that even Blabbermouth would give enough of a shit about her to post anything on her?
Granted, this doesn't point to any guilt, but it makes a valid point. She had a lot to gain from his death. And considering how much press she did after his death, it really makes me wonder. I think there seems to be enough to this to warrant a legal investigation. It almost seems as if there was *no* investigation even performed.

What's really odd about this though-in any crime, the prime suspect is the person or persons with the most to gain. It's a routine deal that the cops will at least "investigate" the next of kin for motive and alabai.
But apparantly not so in this case. It was 'open and shut'-clearly suicide. Even though a divorce had been brewing. Even though there were millions at stake. And once you read Tom Grant's account of the events leading up to and following Kurt's death, and Courtney's strange (even for her) behavior, and some of the oddities of the crime scene (shell casing on the wrong side of the corpse strongly suggests that Kurt was shot by a second party, and then the gun rotated 180 degrees) no prints, and no record of powderburn on Cobain's hands? Something is very wrong.
Maybe Courtney is having financial trouble because paying off cops can get expensive?

I don't see her having financial trouble to that extent. In her line of work, financial trouble doesn't equal an inability to hire lawyers. Besides, she's been in and out of court so many damn times that I've lost count. Obviously, she can afford to hire a lawyer and take it to court if she wanted to nail this guy.
The reality is, we'll never know the truth. No way are the Seattle police going to investigate this *now*. That would be the same as admitting that they fucked up the first time. Police are not going to do that. There are a lot of innocent people sitting on death row right now. It's been ten years, don't expect any real investigation or truth to come to light.
The second this story hit the airwaves MTV and other real news organizations called it a suicide. Case closed. Before the police had a chance to even think about their first move MTV was airing Nirvana videos all weekend long and fans were crying about Cobain's suicide. At the time nobody questioned it because they had no reason to do so.

is a great fuckin' book. eye-opening, bigtime. and i was completely of the opinion that he was a chickenshit fuck for killing himself 'cause money, fame and rock stardom were soooo bad that he had to do that, leaving a poor little girl to grow up with only HER. THAT'S horrible! but then i read that book, and my opinion changed COMPLETELY. BT's already detailed a lot of it but there's SOOO much more in there. the suicide "note" is absolutely laughable - ANYBODY with EYES can tell that there's at least two, maybe three different people's handwriting on there and in the first part (that IS his handwriting) it only sounds like an apology to his fans for breaking up the band or quitting music entirely....and that's it. all the death shit comes later. not only that before "killing himself", he'd already shot up a lethal amount of heroin that would kill even a hardened addict such as himself within a few moments, and on top of it he'd have been unconscious almost instantly....yet he was able untie himself, pack up his rig and put it away, pull out his ID, wipe off the fingerprints...etc. that just wouldn't have been possible. oh, and the "locked" greenhouse room he was in could be locked by someone leaving the room too...AND the whole El Duce thing - please somebody tell me HOW IN THE FUCK you get so drunk you walk into a moving train. A TRAIN!!! gimme a fucking break!!! if you're so gone you can't even feel the earth shake and the wind hit you when a train goes by, it's because you're OUT COLD. and at that point, you could be PUSHED......you know, like if somebody wanted you dead so you wouldn't talk.
all that said, it's a pretty interesting read. funny thing is i only clicked on this story expecting to see "COURTNEY LOVE "HARASSED" BY COMPLETE STRANGER FOR REFUSING TO SUCK HER EXPOSED BREAST" or something along those lines. LOL!
