MARILYN MANSON Deletes Former Bandmembers From 'The Nobodies' Video

MARILYN MANSON's revised "The Nobodies" music video debuted Friday on Germany's "Universal Rock Videos". The video, originally released in 2001, differs slightly from the original. In addition to subtle differences with regard to added and deleted scenes, the audio for the song itself has also been changed in certain areas. However, the most noticeable alteration is the removal of the brief instances within the video that showcased the 2001 band lineup, including ex-members Twiggy Ramirez (bass) and John 5 (guitar). Currently, the video is available for download in its entirety via the "Universal Rock Videos" web site at Universal-Rock.de. Real player or Windows Media Player is required to play the video. what is this guys damn problem? i used to be a big fan of Manson but these days he just seems like a major asshole. He just uses everyone around him and then fucks them off when they have no more use for him. Same goes with his "girlfriends". He was with Rose McGowan during his Mechanical Animals phase, because that fit in with his whole "I want to fit in with hollywood and celebrities" theme. In his last cd he had a burlesque theme. Surprise surprise, he has a burlesque dancer/stripper girlfriend. What next?
He's become a parody of himself. He doesn't have the same affect on stage anymore. I saw him during the tour for the Golden Age of Grotesque album and he just seemed like a little kid trying to be a big tough scary man, but failed miserably.
He's gonna have nobody left to write good songs for him soon. Twiggy and John were the best song writers he's had. I don't know what happened between him and Twiggy, but John has said that Manson treated him like shit pretty much since day 1.

twiggy and john5 were a part of the band when that song was made. that video is like a piece of band history. manson cutting them out is a REALLY shitty move. my respect for him has gone downhill since GAOG came out.

i couldnt of said it better myself. loved him or hated him you knew that this was music and videos to freak the shit out of people. the early manson stuff was edgy dark and really good. i wasnt a big fan of him but i still respected him for bringing that shock value back to music and making people hate him. but now and days he is just a pathetic attempt at becoming something he once was.

theres not really much difference in the sound of it. its still the original recording. i think some parts have extra vocal tracks dubbed over the originals or something like that. as for the added tracks, im not sure because ive only seen the original clip a few times.

We don't know if either band members asked to be removed or not, or if Manson was legally allowed to include them in this "new version" at all. Think of all the possibilites first before you start running your mouth.

When I was 14 I saw the Dopehat video and thought the song killed.......bought the cd and shirt and everything.......the album is still good.....Anti-Christ Superstar was decent......that seems like it was centuries ago and much has changed.
