CRISIS have announced the addition of drummer
Ryan Ball to the group's ranks.
"Originally hailing from Australia,
Ryan has been living in Pennsylvania for the past four years playing in several local bands including
PURE OUTBREAK,
INCRYPT and
DESPIRE," reads a posting on the
CRISIS fan site
FiresOfSorrow. "A
CRISIS fan true to heart,
Ryan flew himself out to L.A. a month ago to try out for the vacated drummer position. After a successful audition, he arrived in California last week, newly transplanted as a West Coaster now, quite fitting for the band that will always be from NYC. A bio and new band pictures will be posted soon, along with other very exciting news!"
CRISIS parted ways with their previous sticksman,
Josh Florian, after he "busted his appendix" and was unable to join the group on the road with
KITTIE and
OTEP.
As previously reported,
CRISIS are putting the finishing touches on their upcoming DVD,
"Signatures of Survival". Due to be released in the spring,
"Signatures of Survival" was assembled from live footage and interviews from 1993 to the present sent in by fans. Editing duties were handled by
Dominic Garza.
