It's Official: THE WILDHEARTS' GINGER Is BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION's New Guitarist

BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION have announced the addition of guitarist Ginger (THE WILDHEARTS) and bassist Scott Sorry (ex-AMEN) to the group's ranks. Ginger is scheduled to arrive in California from his native England on Sunday (Jan. 23) and spend the next two weeks assisting the rest of the group as they complete the songwriting process for their sophomore album.
As previously reported, BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION are scheduled to enter the studio on February 1 to begin recording the follow-up to last year's "Here Come the Brides", tentatively due in June. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "White Trash", "White Horse", "Blown Away", "Dead Man's Ruin", "Brotherhood" and "Criminal".

Feb. 10 - Trees – Dallas, TX
Mar. 02 – Key Club – Hollywood, CA
Mar. 03 - Galaxy Theater – Anaheim, CA

Its out and out rock and roll with a punky edge to it.

Brides are alright, ......I guess.............but why the hell would Ginger wanna come over and do this when he's got better musicians to do side projects with in the U.K. and Europe? (think Supershit 666)? I think he's making a big mistake....he needs to keep focusing on The Wildhearts. He's one of the last great rock 'n' roll songwriters out there.

OK, like Brides - but LOVE the WiLDHEARTS. I don't want to have to wait several years again for a new WiLDHEARTS record but this will of course probably make that be the case. For all of you who have never heard the Hearts, you are missing out big time. Trust me.

You guys are giving them to much shit.
Traci can write decent songs and now with Ginger they shouldn't have any problems writing great songs. I think Nikki left only because of Motley Crue reunion. But I think that is for the best. I believe he more of a head case and helt the band back for the most part.
New album should be interesting. They got the talent and no one can take that from them. Just hope they take there time and put out a great cd.
