Good to see all the haters still have that originality flowing in their blood! Tools. And at least one man has it right, they definitely are making music now to redeem themselves to all you pole-smokers who ran out and bought Infest the second you heard Last Resort and then turned around right after they ended their Ozzfest stint.

You can't call this stuff rock as it bares no resemblence even in the slightest to Led Zeppelin, let alone Chuck Berry. Even the 90's rock bands like Alice In Chains and Soundgarden are so far removed from Papa Roach. I fail to understand what 'generic standard rock' even is now.

They turn up their bass a lot, and play quite loud. But does that make them metal? Only in the loosest of definitions. I know jack shit about rap so I'm not gonna cover that angle. Papa Roach are just a typical post-modern mishmash of various genre's that skip over elements of any particular genre and put together the bits that they (or rather radio) see fit.

Either you like that approach or you hate it. I for one hate it, but so fucking what? It's better kids play music like Papa Roach than go out an get all Nathan Gale at the world.

HAIL BUZZ LIGHTYEAR !!!

Yes, the drummer's wife is a fat bitch who always argues with the black guy on Celeb Fat Club (VH1).
First CD: pretty catchy
Second CD: I really didn't really like it
Third CD: Has some good stuff but damn do I hate "Scars".
