Ozzy the only way possible to redeem yourself is to make a new studio cd with sabbath and get with Zach and make another killer solo cd. tell sharon to fuck off and get busy on it now!

Why are they keeping the track with Ozzy and Whale Woman on it?....That would be the logical track to remove...Only a boxset is BIG enough to hold a picture of her lard-ass....I guess it will say "Prince of Darkness" on the cover...then when you open it up it will have this monsterous size 100' x 100'(that means 100 feet by 100 feet for the short buser's) poster of the Whale and then four cd's...no other artwork or liner notes....

Before we all crucify Ozzy and Sharon for the exclusion of these songs, maybe you should consider the fact that Gary Moore and Dweezil Zappa are the ones who are keeping these songs from appearing on the boxset.
Then again, that wouldn't explain the deletion of the Randy RHOADS (learn to spell his name right, some of you dumb asses!!) song. Also, I do know that at one point Sharon also managed Lita Ford and Coal Chamber, yet neither Lita's "Close My Eyes Forever" or Coal Chamber's "Shock the Monkey" (both featuring guest appearances by Ozzy) are on this boxset. Nor is: "Iron Man" by Busta Rhymes, "Buried Alive" by Rick Wakeman, "Iron Head" with Rob Zombie, "Bombers Can Open Bomb Bays" and "Jack's Land" by Bill Ward, or "Hey Stoopid" by Alice Cooper (all featuring Ozzy), or even his more obscure solo stuff, like "Black Skies," "You Said It All," "You Looking at Me Looking at You," "Party with the Animals." Now THAT would be a fucking boxset!!!

Fuck!! if you an Ozzy fan you should have most of this stuff anyway.I think greatest hits songs should be put in a scrambled order not as the history to which they were recored. You might as well just throw on the original cd's in the order of which they were put out and skip the songs you don't like. Then you have your own greatest hits of your liking not some record company.

first of all, it makes no sense at all to delete ANYTHING from the legendary Randy Rhoads, it makes me wonder if Ozzy has some other recordings of Randy that he's not releasing for some reason. Also, leaving out the Gary Moore song and the Lita Ford duet is just WRONG......and JBodak is correct in saying where are the lost Ozzy songs that he recorded with Rhoads like You Said it All or You Looking at Me Looking at You.

I also agree with metalhead43.......and shittyrabbit - great take on the boxset and the huge poster inside of Orca the killer whale

You delete Randy but leave Kelly on the CD.
Next Jack Osburne will replace Zakk and Aimee Osburne will be playing the fucking drums.
Hey Sharon, go unstaple your stomach and eat kelly!

The Randy stuff got deleted because Sharon has yet to bring in a bassist and drummer who never met Randy to replace the bass and drums on those "lost tracks" just yet.

But it DOES mean that in another few years there will be a new CD of "lost"Ozzy tracks w/Randy.

how's that theory?

COMMENT | Alf is God and myself have pretty much detailed the definitive list...

...of rare/unreleased/soundtrack songs/b-sides/collaborations/etc. I just thought of another one, though: "The Vertical Man," with Ringo Starr. You could also add "Evil Woman," and "Blow on a Jug" which, until the "Black Box" boxset came out last year, were unavailable. "Evil Woman" was also on the "Symptom of the Universe" best-of released before the boxset. I mean, "Psycho Man" is now on this upcoming boxset, so why not those other two??

Also, apparently, Ozzy recorded backup vocals for another Gary Moore song, but I can't remember the title now, but I've heard it and didn't hear Ozzy. Perhaps someone here knows more about this than me???

And if you really want to scrape the bottom of the barrel, Ozzy also was part of an all-star lineup that recorded an anti-littering song called "Yakkety-Yak" (a remake of the old '50s song????). This would've been around 1990 or so, I believe.

Oh yeah, there is also TWO different versions of "Don't Blame Me." The music's exactly the same on both versions, but the lyrics are a lot different.

Maybe Sharon thinks she can milk Ozzy fans for more money by holding back on a lot of this stuff, and then, a year or so in the future, release a SECOND boxset???? There's plenty of room on this upcoming boxset for more stuff, but not enough for ALL of it that Alf is God and myself have listed.

He is absolutely correct when he says that a lot of those songs are now available on the latest remasters of Ozzy's solo albums.
