- Feb. 15, 2005
Britain's MY DYING BRIDE are putting the finishing touches on their second DVD, "Sinamorata", tentatively due in April.
The disc will reportedly include live footage (12 songs) shot on November 2, 2003 in Antwerpen, Belgium, as well as backstage extras, the "The Blue Lotus" video (exclusive to this DVD) directed and conceived by David Palzer, the "Prize of Beauty" promotional clip, two videos made by MY DYING BRIDE fans ("Hope the Destroyer" and "My Wine In Silence") and a photo gallery featuring fan-created artwork inspired by the band's music.
In other news, MY DYING BRIDE's first DVD, "For Darkest Eyes", has been repackaged with new cover artwork by David Palser and and will be available at a special price from March 21. The band have also provided two new remixes for inclusion on a three-CD box set of their work to date, which is being released in May.
MY DYING BRIDE's eighth studio album, "Songs of Darkness, Words of Light", was released in February 2004 through Peaceville Records. The follow-up to 2001's "The Dreadful Hours" was recorded and mixed at Academy Studio in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire with producer Mags.

I saw them in 1997 on that Dio tour, It was amazing, I agree they are so damn underrated!
but shit you have to tour in order to get bigger , and MDB doesn't really tour anymore, its really sad cuz they are so amazing, and seem like nice guys, but they really hated being on tour in the US, Martin told me everone was away from the girlfiends for 2 weeks and that made it hard, I was like to myself, what a joke and a bunch of pussies.
I guess to each is own but I find it kida selfish to just NOT tour cuz you wanna watch TV with your old lady, what about all the fans around the world? I know Aaron just bought a house and they all work FT jobs but hey man Katatonia does it, you just have to have the will to and desire.
but I do give them 110% credit on keeping up very well with the albums releases.
anyhow that's why they don't tour.
cheers chris
