SLASH's Top Hat Stolen

Guitarist Slash's ( VELVET REVOLVER, ex- GUNS N' ROSES) top hat that he's been wearing for the past 15 years was stolen out of the limo that took him to the Grammy Awards last Sunday (Feb. 13), informed sources have told BLABBERMOUTH.NET. The limo driver swears he knows nothing about it and Slash wants the hat back. In addition, some personal things were missing from a bag Slash's wife Perla left in the limo with the top hat. If anyone has the top hat and wants to return it (no questions asked), please contact BLABBERMOUTH.NET.

Zakk & Dime both had their favorite guitars stolen, the finally got them back, thanks to loyal fans...maybe this will work to Slash's favor, allthough I don't think it will be as identifiable as those guitars.

Don't you understand that hat is Slash's most prized possession. And no he can't buy a new one, the new one will not have his stink and funk on it therefore it is not nearly as valuable.
I bet you Slash was planning to sell it one day on his website like Blackie is doing. Go to the official WASP website and click on merchandise and check it out. He's got his high heel boots on sale for $2000, the tank from LOVE Machine for $5000, some chainsaws he put on his hands for $500 a piece. He also made a note that none of the merchandise has been washed in years. So the funk is preserved which is why the cost is so high. Just goes to show you, even rock stars have garage sales.

Slash (along with Zakk Wylde) is one of the last few bastions of REAL OLD-SCHOOL guitar playing. And to the guy that said he should be shot... you should be absolutely ashamed of yourself. Okay , I think every single person who has posted on this page should go back and reconsider what they said . All the people who are saying Slash is shit , well , that's a matter of your opinion but if you go out in the public and yell that you may die , because there are Slash lovers EVERYWHERE . But I also think the people who are freaking out about his hat being stolen are PSYCHO ! I was pretty angry when the hat went missing , but honestly , we all know that Slash can play guitar without the hat . He has done it before because the hat would most likely fall off while he's rocking out . Also , we all know that stealing is a crime but I think you are fucked up if you are just going to come on here and yell at all the people reading this , we didn't steal the hat , so CALM DOWN ! Also , Slash is RICH ! He could EASILY get another top hat made like his old one , and I understand that a new hat would not have the memories or the " funk " in it but it's also his own fault that the hat was stolen in the first place . His hat is famous , and so , who in their right mind would leave a FAMOUSE hat in an UNLOCKED limo . At least ask the driver to watch your shit or something , seriously .
