KISS To Perform At ROCKIN' THE CORPS Patriotic Celebratory Concert

According to a posting at KissOnline.com, KISS, along with Cedric the Entertainer (Master of Ceremonies), DESTINY'S CHILD, GODSMACK, Jay Mohr, Louis Anderson and TED NUGENT, have been confirmed for an April 1 performance at the Marine Corps Air Station, Camp Pendleton, Oceanside, California.
Rockin' the Corps is a patriotic celebratory concert for an audience of more than 25,000 marines and their families. Executive producers Quincy Jones and Joseph E. Robert, Jr. have joined forces with producers Doc McGhee and Spencer Proffer to create a high energy, patriotic celebration for the dedicated men & women of the United States Marine Corps in a show of appreciation.
Note: this concert is for the marines at Camp Pendleton and their families.... There will be no civilians allowed!

Does this mean KISS 2005 might actually happen? I don't know if that's a good thing or not. With Paul's hip-iotomy and Gene being hated by so many, plus the fucking scabs......... What kind of show is this going to be?

At least it's for a good cause. But still, KISS 2004-2005 sucks. They are my favourite band, but I think their last shred of glory they had was on the aerosmith tour, because it was pretty cool to see two rock n roll icons on the same night.
If this line up is so great compared to the original, then why don't the scabs and gene and paul make a new KISS album?

It's bad enough that most of these marines will wind up in Iraq or Afghanistan (actually Iran, Syria, and North Korea are probably right around the corner) but we have have to make them them suffer through this. Regardless of how one feels about the current situation we're in, we gotta support the troops.

Ahhhhhh its great to see KISS back!!!! A friend of mine presented me yesterday with a handmade Dinner Plate painted in the KISS "Rock And Roll Over" album cover....i nearly cried, its the most beautiful thing ive ever seen....of couse if I showed it to Gene he would make me give it to him and then he would Patent it and sell them for $2000 U.S, but hey...he's a BUSINESSMAN!!!!
I really hope they come back to Australia, cause they re due for another tour, and id love them to play for me and my Dogs in my backyard so if anyone knows how to contact them.....

FUCK GENE SIMMONS!!
Sure, he might not actually be getting paid for it, but you can bet yer ass he's gonna make a buck off it somehow. I'm not really a fan of this whole war thing, but wars are fought by real men and women with families and friends. I thought it was cool how those BLS fans donated IPods, but I just don't trust Gene Simmons to do ANYTHING altruistic. After all, this is a guy who told a classroom of children how great it was to be selfish and greedy.

post a comment about how Kiss Alive 2 was the first album my parents bought me, then I was going to say something funny, but then the conflict of reality tore me into 2. I love this country, but sometimes I feel like the MAN at the wheel is just a greedy, self-righteous, arrogant, delusional driver with a knack for switching the blame of 9-11 to the Iraqi's. And our own good men and women will fight for what will hopefully be a successful cause. If nothing but bloodshed and a country left behind to deal with civil wars, and an actual place terrorists will thrive, I don't see the BIG picture. Well, we'll always have Metal to soothe our souls, and sometimes if you listen close, a new meaning.

All I know is Saddam put a bounty on his Dad, he is in custody.
We cannot seem to find a sick, old, Bin Laden anywhere, even though he is the one who celebrated the 9-11 attacks.
I believe the U.S. should have never went into Iraq 'cause it had nothing to do with us.
Bin Ladin needs to be found and held responsibile for his terrorist actions, we shoul've concentrated all our efforts on that.
I support the American troops with all my heart, and I hope they all get to come back home soon, no more soldier deaths in Iraq.
