TOMMY LEE To Release New Album Through His Own Label Imprint - Mar. 10, 2005
Hits Daily Double reports: Word has it that MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee is putting the finishing touches on a new album on his own imprint intended to be a companion piece to his upcoming NBC reality series, "Tommy Lee Goes To College", coming this summer. The album is said to feature guests including NICKLEBACK's Chad Kroeger, BACKSTREET BOYS' Nick Carter, GOOD CHARLOTTE's Joel Madden and superstar producer Butch Walker. Rumor is that Handleman has just inked a deal for exclusive distribution rights through a yet-to-be-named new division inside the the nation's largest home entertainment rackjobber and that the album will be released to coincide with the new series.

I went and saw MC in Cleveland, it was a decent 80's reunion show. but then Tommy gets up in front of a bunch of vintage 80's metal heads and asks "where are all my bitches- where are all my pimps", then his solo was all that techno jive, I could only think to myself that Mr. Tommy needs to go back to "da hood" and play for all the " yo dogs"...

This album is gonna ROCK!! I can't WAIT to get my hands on this bad boy!! Hell, this is christmas come early for yours truly, Destructo Dog!!

Just thought there should be at least one post on this thread supporting this abominable piece of shit, just for the sake of diversity. Now if you'll excuse me, once I set my projectile garbage cannon to the high-powered "wigga" setting, I have some business to attend to.

Mmm... Beer... c(_)

"but from my excruciatingly painful "Asshole" experience"

LMAO!!!!! Sorry, man, I couldn't resist!

Anyway, I'll lend my support for one reason, and one reason only... Butch Walker!!! This does sound band, I agree with most of you... but Butch can make it work.

And besides, I think I'm one of maybe... 1 person who liked Never A Dull Moment.

Is a distribution company here in the U.S. They have reps that go into retail stores and stock the music sections / rearrange the CDs every so often. The funny thing is that they only handle about 40-50% of the United States' mass retailer distribution - the other 50-60% is handled by others such as Anderson Merchandising. This means that if he signs an exclusive with them, they may be able to get broader access to additional retail stores.

Regarding this album (and I don't usually waste time bashing), the people who contribute to an album obviously affect the outcome; as such, this is bound to be abysmal (at least in relation to what his usual fans would expect from his Crue background). What a disaster.
