Hip-Hop Legend BIZZY BONE To Cover GUNS N' ROSES' 'Welcome To The Jungle'

According to a posting on the Sp1at.com web site, hip-hop legend BIZZY BONE has told Philly.com that he will be releasing a cover of the GUNS N' ROSES classic "Welcome to the Jungle" this summer. "There's a lot of my archives and some things never heard before," Bizzy told Philly.com. "I will have a rock and roll album out this summer, doing a remake of 'Welcome To The Jungle' with GUNS N' ROSES." Merck Mercuriadis, manager of GUNS N' ROSES, has told Sp1at.com that Axl Rose and co. will not be involved with the project.

Please correct this. It was actually Layzie Bone who covered the song and Layzie who said that. The Philly article makes numerous errors.

even if they completly butchar the song atleast their showing respect for it and giving it a go. I mean their not just sitting around in their little secular scene and ignoring other styles of music like some metal heads do.

First off, it's Layzie Bone, not Bizzy Bone. The Philadelphia reporter who wrote the story is a complete idiot and made tons of factual errors.
Second of all, Bizzy is still in Bone Thugs-n-Harmony.

That this version is better than the shitty dance remake of "Paradise City" that was made by some Top-40 group (name escapes me) a few years back, but I doubt it.
Whatever happened to the good ol' days when "Crossover" meant Chuck D. and Flava Flav (yeeeaaaah boi!!) kickin' it with Anthrax, or the "Judgement Night" soundtrack?

Usher video came on the other day and the opening to it was a song from the band Live (one of my favs...not metal)...these horses asses should stick to writing for themselves.

every time somebody has to play the race card, No one called anyone names, except you...just suggested they continue to write their own music.....quit useing metal. They take the most familiar riff of the song and loop it and rap over it. Most of the time they will change a note in it so its familiar, but not the same...(vanilla ice)...and beat the artist out of royaltys.

Remember that godawful remake of Zepplin's "Kashmir" with Poof Daddy that for some reason Jimmy Page not only green-lighted but PLAYED on? Well, when they were in the studio, Jimmy said something along the lines of "I was thinking of changing the key from D to E", to which P-Diddy replied "I don't know nuthin' about no D or no E, yo."
Unfortunately, there ARE (especially in the realms of top 40) a lot of rappers who DON'T know D from E, which is why they rip off other people's music and pass it off as their own. And whether or not this song is going to be any good (not bloody likely!), I've always had a special place in my heart for the Beastie Boys' "Rhymin' And Stealin'", which samples the verse riff from Sabbath's "Sweet Leaf"...

don't kill it just yet, Bizzy Bone is a great musician for your dumb assess who thinks all rap is crap. he might do it justice, as long as he don't rap during the track. there's time i'm almost embarass of being a metal head, especailly when i hear dumb remarks of people bashing another genre of music, without ever really listing to it. it's a stupid as someone who's all into Jay z and thinks Slayer is non sence. The fact is music is music, it's true alot of rap does suck, just like there's a lot of metal that sucks. is there anyone who doesn't think old school rap is way better then nu metal? Hell, i'll rather listen to NWA anyday then to listen to As I lay Dying or Norma Jean
