NINE INCH NAILS To Headline This Year's VOODOO Festival?

According to a posting on The NIN Hotline, Ticketmaster has started announcements to sellers in the Louisiana area that NINE INCH NAILS are due to headline this year's Voodoo festival in New Orleans. The annual event, which tends to draw in a crowd of around 65,000 people, is scheduled to take place October 29-30. NINE INCH NAILS's new album, "With Teeth", is slated for release in the U.S on May 3 (one day earlier internationally). The CD, which is said to be "more song-orientated" than 1999's "The Fragile", was recorded in part at Sound City Studio in Van Nuys, Ca., and features a guest appearance on drums by former NIRVANA drummer/current FOO FIGHTERS frontman Dave Grohl. Mixing duties were handled by Alan Moulder ( THE CURE, SMASHING PUMPKINS). Check out clips of "The Hand That Feeds" (first single) and "The Line Begins to Blur" at BandBuilder.com. Trent Reznor and the new NINE INCH NAILS lineup — guitarist Aaron North, bassist Jeordie White ( A PERFECT CIRCLE, ex- MARILYN MANSON), keyboardist Allesandro Cortini and drummer Jerome Dillon — will kick off a North American theater tour in April.

i have liked trent reznor and NIN for years, but why the fuck does it take 5 fucking years to make a album? i dont get it.
Downward Spiral came out then it took years for The Fragile to come out and it kinda sucked and now it takes another 5 years, so HOPEFULLY this album will be great, becaue if it isnt, im through with NIN because im 30 now and im not waiting till im 35 to hear a new NIN album, it sounds good from the 2 songs i heard, so well see in May....wont we?

to hear the new NIN. Pretty Hate Machine changed the way that I listened to music. I had never heard of them, but went to see Lollapalooza that year in Chicago and I watched 30,000 people bounce straight up and down to Head Like A Hole. I really hope that this new record is kick-ass and brilliant.

Where is everyone hearing the new NIN. The radio stations in my town havn't played anything new. They are coming here (Reno), I got tix, however all I hear on our radio stations is "Closer".
Also, The Fragile was not a bad album at all. It was different for sure. Trents grandmother had died around that time and I think it played a huge part on the material. Most people do want to hear "Head Like a Hole" Part II, but I was cool with it. Excited as hell to hear With Teeth!!!

The 2 shows in Atlanta sold out in minutes. Damn ticket brokers. And someone said on this site that NIN was soo over. I highly doubt it. The Fragile was a good disc, not the best, but there are some good tunes on it. Looking forward to the new disc.

Saw NIN with Perfect circle , lakeland summer 2000. Perfect circle crushed them.. NIN, hmmm, Pretty Hate Machine was the was the last I've liked them, although I did like the "Absinthe" video....roflmfao

Trent should have gotten Nergal of Behemoth to guest on this CD. I mean did you hear their cover of Wish. It's flawless. Come on Trent open you eyes to oversea Talent.

he took so long coz he's been waiting the song to get to him.the new single kicks!i thought the title was kinda stupid...but its good!who fucking cares about the music scene,its all crap.NIN is god.dammit...i cant even hear a second of NIN's song in my country's radio station.all they play is dumb hip-hop and linkin park!
