KISS Frontman To U.S. Troops: 'You Are Celebrated Here, Not Forgotten'

KISS guitarist/vocalist Paul Stanley has issued the following message to the U.S. troops "protecting us overseas": "I am blown away by your letters and diary posts. No amount of thanks can convey our appreciation for the risks you take and the sacrifices you are making. You are celebrated here, not forgotten. You give us a direct link to you and your lives in every message we receive from you. I look forward every day to your updates. Keep safe AND keep in touch." I don't agree with the reasons GIVEN for the US in Iraq (aka WMD) but for his slaughtering his own people, Saddam had to go.
Why don't grow the fuck up and learn what to do with a clue, that way when you get one eventually you won't be totally lost as what they're used for.

What about Finland? Finland has been independent and democratic since 1918 when she gained indepandence. Soviet Union tried to invade but failed.

I live in Finland and that is not entirely true...Although the Finns put up a much greater fight than the Soviets expected, the soviets still in essence, "beat" them....The Finns were forced to side with the Germans (which basically meant A german occupation during the war to avoid an attack by them, much like what happened to Poland in 1938) and basically fight with the Germans throught the duration of WWII, or the "Continuation War" as its called here. The "Winter War" from December 1938-February 1939 was the battle faught and ultimately lost by the Finns to the Soviets....after all, Finland only had about 3,000,000 people at the time vs the soviets' ten times that....

My point was that "Marxism" does worse than the US is accused of doing.
As for Breakermetal, he's too afraid of his own shadow to know anything about how the real world works.
Probably thinks a Big Gulp from a 7-11 is a life altering purchase, assuming of course that he knows it's the drink sold in the store and not the hummer he gave the bum for beer money.

Actually thats not true. Marxism was itself a kind of Social Darwinism. Marx wanted the weak within labor class to suffer and die of hunger so the strong ones would get angry and start the Socialist revolution.

Its basically illiteracy, and the tunnel-minded approach these religious fanatics have towards the west, that creates lots of confusion. In fact, most of these fanatics are stubborn Pathans (Pathans LOVE Afghans, and make quite a percentage of our population in rural areas). These people never get taught anything other than religion, which is absurd, so they have developed sort of negativity towards west, specially america.
Not to mention they are hated by most people here who prefer keeping silent and not burning tyres and flags on highways.
As for dictatorship, yes Musharraf's government is a dictatorship..sort of. But the reason most Pakistanis don't stand up against him is because he has a wider vision, he is moderate, and he has a better understanding of what is right or wrong. Consider Pakistan as a "fundamentalist" Muslim country, whose media is so free that videos of death metal bands (local hits like "death of the reaper" by band "Messiah") are aired almost everyday on national television channels...credit? to Musharraf of course! I mean, does ABC show music videos of Cannibal Corpse??
I hate the fact that channels like Fox, CNN, BBC...they all show the dirtiest, most underdeveloped, and hateful places, whereas in reality things are way different.

Everybody hates on America for being the "last standing world superpower", but if any one of those countries were in the same shoes, they sure as hell wouldn't say "no, I don't want the power, we should be equal!!" Bullshit! This country has a shit load of problems, Bush being one of them, so I'm still kind of neutral about the war, but if I'm called to go to the gulf again, I will do it with pride because I love my country and the last thing I want to do is be the cause of one of my friends dying because I decided to be a hippy. I don't like Bush, but I still believe in the United States.... that's why I wear this uniform.

I am glad to hear an honest depiction of where yu live. I agree all of our news stations have dramatically dumbed down our nation. The problem is that there is no more investigatory investigation world wide. The cable news networks pick up a story off the wire and rehash it until the next one comes along. 80% of what the show in a day is reruns. Christ with as small as the world is today why cant we get world news and really see what the deal is. The problem as I see it is the world is taking our que and using media for their agendas. Our agenda is money/entertainment and manipulation, whereas Al-Jazeera IMO is the fundamentalist mouthbox. I just started regularly reading the BBC website and to tell you the truth their coverage is as lacking as ours. That being said I agree with the way things are going, I see progress with the potential for some very great things, I support our troops and have spoken to many people who have been on 2 and 3 tours, they believe what they are doing (the vast majority). I respect Musharrif, the guy has balls as does Tony Blair. Those are the only two on your side of the ocean who I believe want to stop terrorism, I see too many other agendas with the others.

Don't worry, your part of the world isn't the only place the news channels stereotype. They do it to everything, like whenever they show the Midwest, they make it look like a massive cornfield or when they show the South, they have to include the trailer parks.

Well yeah it seems strange to lots of people that Pakistanis do listen to metal.
Typically, I wait for the underground gigs...they take place twice or thrice every month. Mostly bands cover relatively newer bands like Opeth, Katatonia, Paradise Lost, etc, i mean not the typical Metallica or Megadeth. Last month, a band called "Palimpsest" covered Opeth's 20 minute song Black Rose Immortal, entire with all solos and everything. It was particularly impressive to see 18 year olds play such complex music.
Fred Durst is hated here as well.
