TED NUGENT's Breach-Of-Contract Suit Gets Underway

Grand Rapids, Michigan's WOOD-TV is reporting that Ted Nugent's breach-of-contract lawsuit against the Muskegon Summer Celebration festival has gone to trial.
The court hearing got under way today in Muskegon County Circuit Court.
A jury was selected, the lawyers gave their opening statements and the first witness testified.
The trial is expected to continue until at least March 30th.
The 56-year-old Detroit native — who now lives in Crawford, Texas — sued the festival after it canceled his planned concert appearance in June of 2003.
Nugent sued after news outlets reported that he allegedly used racial slurs while referring to blacks and Asians earlier that year during a live radio interview in Denver.
He has denied making such remarks.

Met Uncle Ted a couple of weeks back at the Trocadero in Philly. Really nice guy... i had to wait for my train and while walking back to the train station noticed some folks waiting in the Troc's back alley... since I had time, I hung out... Nugent came walking out and headed right for the SUV... but someone called out "hey Ted there's only 10 of us!" So he turned around did a quick head count, shrugged, walked over and started talking to everyone and signing anything folks had.
was very down to earth and hung out for 20 minutes just talking to people.

so can it please be explained to me how he can deny something that was live, on record, and can probably be played back and proven without any reasonable doubt whatsoever? where is his fucking case? seriously?

For one thing, the guy has been around for as long as the likes of Ozzy, a true veteran of Rock and/or Roll. Speaking of which, Ted also had his own reality show of sorts and didn't turn into some mindless babbling dumbass.
Oh, and his wife is so much more hotter than $haron.

It's ironic that you should mention Ozzy. Ted always rags on him, yet he tries to emulate him with his flop of a reality show.
The difference is, Ozzy is a true icon, and Ted just can't stand it.
Why else would he be so obsessed with putting Ozzy down.

There's NO fucking way you can compare Ted to Ozzy. Until recently (thanks to "The Osbournes") Ozzy has released album after album, from Sabbath, to the Randy Rhoads days, to the mid eighties and up to the Zakk Wylde days. What the fuck has Ted ever done?
And here's a few things Ozzy HASN'T done... diddle underage girls, tell the rest of us how we should be living our lives, make a big fucking song and dance about how much of a man he is by shooting animals in cages, utter racist remarks on a live interview, etc, etc...
As ugly as the whole "$haron whoring for money" thing has become, the metal world will always love Ozzy. But who the fuck remembers Ted Nugent? Just out of curiousity, does ANYONE outside of the U.S. (aside from those poor troops in Iraq subjected to his two Chuck Berry-rippoff licks) listen to his music? Hell, I only found out about the guy through a guitar magazine, then I did a little listening and reading, and man, this guy is a fucking COCK HOLSTER!! Fuck him.
