JUDAS PRIEST And QUEENSRŸCHE: Virginia Date Confirmed

According to NissanPavilion.com, JUDAS PRIEST and QUEENSRŸCHE are scheduled to perform at the Nissan Pavilion in Bristow, Virginia on Sunday, June 19. So far the following dates have been leaked for the tour:
May 31 – Minneapolis, MN @ TBA
Jun. 10 - Holmdel, NJ @ PNC Bank Arts Center
Jun. 19 - Bristow, VA @ Nissan Pavilion
Further dates and cities, as well as venues, could be announced as early as next week. A third band my also be added to the bill. The trek is expected to last eight weeks and will cover mostly outdoor arenas.

i have to respond to the previous idiot...u complain about not seeing them due to a final test...i hope u fail it. that way u will not see maiden, priest and to top it all FAIL UR FINAL. Maiden sucks ass for not playing florida everyone knows that steve harris has about our state since they tour that stupid album i think in 1998. By the way, if u suggest to go to another state or city, WILL U PAY FOR ME TO GO ???? bitch

I can sympathize with Warlock, because I too was shafted from seeing Maiden. But I don't think I could ever bring myself to curse the name of the mighty Maiden. Luckily my finals will be over long before I go to see the Priest in Virginia! Bwah ha ha

QR comes out and Geoff has the charisma of a glass of warm water with a lemon squeezed in it. He spent the last few years ripping on metal and praising the Thompson Twins and Level 42 and now its starting to show. The band goes through the motions, minus the guy who 'replaces' DeGarmo who has the finess of a feeding tube shoved in someones throat. Realizing that QR has put out garbage for 10 years now, they make the wise business move to ignore most of their material in the past 2 decades. Now that he show is over, the session guy gets his $100 for the night, Michael Wilton drinks beer and gets fat, Eddie Jackson contemplates his crap Metal Sludge 20 questions, and Scott Rock makes those drum stickers. Geoff calls up his x solo guitar player to offer him bail money and writes some more songs about how he loves his wife.
Priest goes on:
Halford comes out on motorcycle and goes "WaaaAaaaaaaaaaaahhh...." fronting a band of balding mullets while a crowd of dirty guys sings along to what in retrospect are homosexual rock anthems. Thats not a slam on Rob, thats paraphrasing what he has said in the past about his lyrics. They play the hits plus a few new tunes that no one cares about - well, mostly no one and then they go on the bus and punch the clown. Overall a great night for priest, at least they like what they do unlike QR.
Backstage, Qr and JP secretely get in a fight because QR are liberal faries and JP are tough metal guys with spikey bracelets. Halford gets his motorcycle and runs over QR and they all die. Chris DeGarmo rejoins the band (after everyone dies) and suddenly Qr is great again.
Fuck off, I'm outta here to surf some porn and fantasize about that chick with/without/with/without the feeding tube..

damn,that new priest album sure is a steamy brown peanut filled turd. i love alot of priest stuff,but come on!!! they were suppose to get better writing when halford came back? wtf? the songs from the ripper era are hands down better in every way.aor has 3 songs that are o.k...not very good... at least bruce has a new one coming out soon and you can bet it won't have 3 or more ballads on it... new jp = dissapointing.

I couldn't get into Queensryche even back when they had artistic credibility. So, the main music writer left and the remaining cats started playing nu-grunge? But now they changed to being strictly an oldies act? This would be like Steve Harris leaving Iron Maiden, the rest of guys changing to rap metal, and then only performing songs from their first four albums. Doh!
Anyways, why did Priest get these guys? What about the metal stylings of Ratt? (bonus points for catching the "Rock Star" reference) Wouldn't it be more logical if the Metal Gods shared the bill with an actual heavy metal band? They could pick 2 of their favorite available *heavy metal* bands and share the bill with them.
Force of Evil? 3 Inches of Blood? Death Angel? Razor? Entombed? Candlemass? Seven Witches?
But money talks and bullshit walks. I'll still be there... for Priest.

within the queeensprog camp must has some good friends in higher places cause or Jeff (yuppie/bono )Tate can suck a dick dry because I still don't understand why Queens=ryke is on this Priest tour. Should have seen them oon the 2000 Maiden tour man did they suck. well that only means more beer drinking in the halls of the arena whiles I await for the real deal. "you better hold on better hold on tight we're here to kick like dynomite" I just had a vision of Good Time's Jimmy Wallker saying "Dy-no-mite!!! why don't they ever show Good Times I loved that show man!!!
