AURA NOIR Guitarist Undergoes Surgery After Fifth-Floor Fall

According to the U.K.'s Terrorizer magazine, Carl-Michael "Aggressor" Eide ( AURA NOIR, INFERNÖ, VIRUS, VED BUENS ENDE, ex- CADAVER, ex- DHG) fell from (or jumped off, depending on whose story you believe) a five-story building in Oslo, Norway on Saturday (March 26). He is currently undergoing extensive surgery and the outcome is still not determined. Friends, family and fans all over the world are in shock and can only hope that he'll pull through and make as complete a recovery as possible. Carl Michael is a highly respected musician in the scene, a unique talent and a great personality who has touched and enriched a lot of people's lives.

He did not jump. He was on a nachspiel after having performed at the Infernofestival, and he fell down. At least according to his friends.

According to one of his friends the guy actually jumped. At least he isn't the first suicidal person in the "elitist" black metal scene here in Oslo.

I LOVE Aura Noir, they're one of my favourite bands, been following them since they put out the "Dreams Like Deserts" mcd. I like Cadaver (and Cadaver Inc.) also, but always prefered Aura Noir.
I hope he gets well soon!

Inferno were awesome thrash, their "Utter Hell" and "Downtown Hades" two of the greatest albums ever released by Osmose Productions...i really hope he recovers.

This is terrible news! I've known Carl-Michael since we were both 11 and went to school together. He's such a character, one of the funniest people I've ever met, actually. He's a really good guy and I was so excited for him and Aura Noir that they got to play the Inferno festival, but this is such a tragic turn of events. I'm just hopeful that he will make a 100% recovery, but this does sound really bad.

HAHAHA!!! I feel the same way, man. But you gotta realize something because they would like us to forget; Most likely, we have already beat their asses in a war in the past AND through war repairations helped them rebuild their shit.
Not to mention, we have maintained a military that is second to none.
Also not forgetting the fact that in recent global disasters, the good 'ol US of freaking A has led the relief efforts.
The reason why I brought up that last reference is to further show that whether or not we could in fact beat their asses to dust is not nearly as important to the fact that when the rest of the world needs something, we are there. That shows heart.
Coroner, this little child probably was raised by other souless bastards that taught him to hate blindly.

Do you know that that is pretty much an established homosexual trait you are showing all of us? Gay men are prone (I bet you liked that too) to want to clean up other men like it is their personal duty, ie - Queer Eye. So, since I do shower everyday and I am almost sure that the rest of us do as well, my advice to you is to stop you personal advancements towards me. you're so off base with this one, carl-michael is probably my favorite drummer from recent days, if you listen to his playing on cadaver's "discipline" album - that's some of the most savage, killer drumming ive ever heard, a huge inspiration for me. very unique and creative musician.

I just recently discovered his Virus - Carheart album and I must say it is a masterpiece of weirdness and avant-garde music!!
I hope he recovers so that he can share his talent with all of us!!
