QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE: 'Lullabies' First-Week Chart Positions Revealed - Mar. 30, 2005
QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE's new album, "Lullabies to Paralyze" has entered the national album charts in the following countries:

#1 - Norway
#2 - Ireland
#4 - U.K.
#4 - Holland
#4 - Switzerland
# 5 - U.S.A.
#6 - New Zealand
#13 - Belgium

QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE frontman Josh Homme recorded the album with an almost entirely new lineup, retaining only guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen and drummer Joey Castillo from the group that toured behind the last QUEENS effort, 2002's "Songs for the Deaf". That album peaked at No. 17 on The Billboard 200 and has sold close to a million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Homme fired longtime bassist Nick Oliveri last year.

One track on the new album, called "You Got a Killer Scene There, Man ..." , features guest appearances from GARBAGE singer Shirley Manson and DISTILLERS frontperson Brody Dalle, who's also Homme's girlfriend.

I agree. A good album, but not as good as Deaf was. A lot of the tracks sorta have that slow-dirge Kyuss aspect. Not a bad thing, but I like the upbeat poppy side of Queens better.

COMMENT | I would buy this... but I'm broke! Gimme money. Now.

then its back to working in Hollywood sex shops and swallowing bumb semen for a buck here and there.

Joey C used to be in Danzig and Danzig is small. Danzig likes to get beat up by people after he starts shit with them. Fuck Danzig.
