I heard that from a friend of mine in Little Rock who is pretty obsessive about her guitar players. She's pretty well connected and usually not wrong...BUT:

Beck's website has him on tour in the UK from 6/18 through the 28 at which time Plant is in the US already, so who knows? But I'd also heard that Plant's tour was LATER in the year, so maybe they're saving this bill for big venues?

I'm wondering what he (Beck) is up to musically right now...is he still doing the "techno" thing?

I went to see Robert Plant play at Warwick University in Coventry, UK in front of just over 1000 people packed into a small club and I can assure you that, whatever the rest of the new album sounds like compared to the 2 new songs he played (The Enchanter and Takanda, which were both amazing and had a definite Zep feel to them), then anyone who sees him will be pleasantly surprised. A true master craftsman of the stage and besides which, Zeppelin were always considered one of the pioneering bands that lead on to become heavy metal etc, so I think they are more than worthy to grace this site. Cheers!

Atlanta is the closest show to FL? This is gonna be an expensive summer, just going to see shows all over the country just because none of the good shows or bands ever come to Florida.
