MISERY INDEX 'Booted' From DEICIDE/IMMOLATION U.S. Tour - Apr. 7, 2005
MISERY INDEX, the Baltimore, Maryland-based band featuring Jason Netherton (bass/vocals, ex-DYING FETUS) and Sparky Voyles (guitar, ex-DYING FETUS, M.O.D.), have posted the following message on their official web site:

"Due to persistent issues and problems over the last few months with the booking agent, we were summarily booted from the upcoming DEICIDE/IMMOLATION tour in June. Moving ahead, we will be booking new tourdates very shortly, including a one-week trip through the Northeast with MAGRUDERGRIND and ROTTEN SOUND in late May! In other news we are leaving for Europe today, hope you all can make it out to one of the shows there, and til then...see ya."

MISERY INDEX issued an EP, entitled "Dissent", late last year featuring "nearly 17 minutes of new songs, including the four-part title track 'Dissent' and blast-tastic 'Defector'," according to a posting on the band's web site.

I'd recommend their first EP, entitled "Overthrow". It's real fucking great. Their fullength album and the next EP are also pretty good, but they dont live up to the level of "Overthrow" in my opinion.

Another Deicide US tour and their not playing a show in my area. Also, its not Deicide without Eric and Brian Hoffman in the band.Thats like Slayer without Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman.
