STEEL PROPHET Officially Announce BRUCE HALL As Their New Vocalist
- Apr. 12, 2005
STEEL PROPHET have confirmed that AGENT STEEL singer Bruce Hall has officially joined the group as their new vocalist. Bruce has "been rehearsing with the band and everything sounds great!" the group write on their web site.
Hall will handle the vocal duties on the upcoming STEEL PROPHET album following the departure of Nadir D'Priest, who sang on the group's "Beware" CD (2004). D'Priest originally joined STEEL PROPHET as the replacement for Rick Mythiasin, who has since launched a new project, MYTHIASIN.

As long as it's still very much a metal release, I'll be happy. I assume Bruce is still in Agent Steel, unless by chance Cyriis was found and reincorporated.

"revolving" one day that one original member throwing everyone out will auto xpell himself and there will be an entirely new band. Still these cds are what they are.....and Beware had a couple of good tunes on it its the only one I have ever purchased. I don't koww these bands with fucking steel in their name usually suck.
COMMENT | Nope, "Steel" usually indicates utter fucking ownage posted by : BackInTheVillage 4/12/2005 9:10:40 PM
First, I must say that while I like Unseen, it is probably the worst album of Steel Prophet (everyone with more than one album has a worst). Like speed metal? Get the Messiah album. Like doom metal with speed songs inbetween? Get Into The Void (if you can find it). Like technicality? Get Goddess Principle (best of luck finding that one).
Again, "steel" bands that kick your ass in: Agent Steel Steel Prophet Steel Attack Ritual Steel Virgin Steele Steel Warrior Titan Steele (Ritual Steel with a new drummer and new name) probably more that I'm not thinking of right now.
COMMENT | PERSONALLY, I THINK ALLOWING RICK TO MYTHYSIAN TO LEAVE posted by : rob-mckillop 4/13/2005 3:56:32 AM
WAS A BIG MISTAKE FOR STEEL PROPHET BECAUSE HE WAS ONE OF THE BEST VOCALISTS AROUND. IT SEEMS AS THOUGH HIS DEPARTURE WAS PREVENTABLE BECAUSE HE HAS STATED THAT HE QUIT BECAUSE THE GUITARIST WAS TRYING TO MICROMANAGE HIS SINGING. I ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT SP WERE AN EXCELLENT BAND BUT IT WAS RICK'S VOCALS THAT REALLY CAUGHT MY EAR. I BELIEVE THAT BRUCE HALL WILL RISE TO THE OCCASION AND BE ABLE TO ADAPT TO THIS BAND'S STYLE WELL AND I'M GLAD TO SEE THAT HE'S IN THE BAND. BUT I'M SAD TO REALIZE THAT THERE ARE SO FEW GOOD VOCALISTS OUT THERE THAT THESE GREAT LA BANDS HAVE TO SHARE THEIR SINGERS!
