CHILDREN OF BODOM: 'Are You Dead Yet?' Due In September - Apr. 27, 2005
According to a posting on the CHILDREN OF BODOM fan site Scythes-of-Bodom.com, Spinefarm Records has set a September 14 Finnish release date for the new CHILDREN OF BODOM album, "Are You Dead Yet?" The CD is due to receive an international release on September 19.

In related news, the new album from SINERGY, the acclaimed Finnish-American metal band featuring singer Kimberly Goss and CHILDREN OF BODOM members Alexi Laiho (guitar) and Roope Latvala (guitar), is reportedly due on August 24. The follow-up to 2002's "Suicide By My Side", tentatively titled "Sins of the Past", was recorded in part at Finnvox and Beyond Abilities Studios (the studio of Janne Wirman from CHILDREN OF BODOM).

They should have changed the title anyway, but oh well, the music won't change with the title anyway, so it is all good.

Keyboards make bands sound commercial and crap. You know what else makes bands sound commercial and crap? Guitars. Vocals too. Oh and bass and drums. If you record an album with actual musical instruments your compromising your true underground metal integrity. By recording an album you're selling out to the masses. Metal needs to stop with this corporate bullshit and not actually record albums, thereby staying underground. Or something.

alright I'm fucking stoked for this album to come out and can't fucking wait. I like cob's fucking title it fits them nicely. for some reason it kinda reminds me of wednesday 13 but oh well. neways there are a lot of keyboards in metal and they aren't fucking commercial like marilyn manson. but think about it this way like what holy ferret was saying any band that makes an album and sells it to masses of people they are commercial. seriously yes I must agree underground bands kick ass I loved velvet revolver and antiflag before the surfaced and started makign mass cds and selling them now they are sell outs and I can't stand them. neways ALexi does wear eye liner but eye liner doen't fuck with the way he shreds on guitar besides zakk wylde he's my fucking idol on guitar. seriously and so what with a little bit of make up that's kick ass only true men can wear makeup to begin with. like marilyn manson he can fucking pull off make up like none other and eye liner just sets alexi's style just like his pink cast.
