SLAYER: Limited-Edition Vans Shoes Back On The Market

Due to popular demand, the limited-edition SLAYER Old Skools Vans shoes have once again been made available via the Shop.Vans.com web site. SLAYER are one of the latest additions to the Vans' band shoe project (LTDs). The SLAYER Old Skools, made to the band's specifications, feature an all-leather upper, custom SLAYER Eagle heel logo and SLAYER tongue label, black sidestripe and "red splatters" friction. Last summer, New York retail stores reported that some of their last pairs were selling for upwards of $300 simply because the shoes are expected to be a collector's item years from now (regular shoe prices range from $50 to $55).

Slayer sounded good at last years Ozzfest....opening for Priest.
First time I seen Slayer was on the South of Heaven tour ( great show), when they also opened for Judas Priest.
The other times I have seen them they did not sound as quite as good, for some reason the mighty Judas Priest brings out the best in them.
The best 80 minutes at Ozzfest EVER, was last year when Judas Priest with Rob Halford kicked everyones's ass!!!!!!!!
As to the shoes, they may make a good gift for one of my younger friends.
Just seen Kreator last week , and look forward to Priest, SYL, Overkill, and The Sounds of the Underground tours!!!!!

I loce Vans, they are comfortable as hell for work, and I love Slayer, but those are some ugly shoes.

i dont like kiss, but everyone would be bitching like crazy if they did this. slayer is lame anymore which is what ive been saying for a few years now. so you dorks can go buy a queer pair of shoes or buy a kerry wristband or whatever, and ill go buy a cd of a metal group that is still relevant
