SATELLITE PARTY: Former JANE'S ADDICTION, EXTREME Members Join Forces In New Band - Apr. 28, 2005
SATELLITE PARTY, the new band featuring vocalist Perry Farrell (JANE'S ADDICTION, PORNO FOR PYROS) and Nuno Bettencourt (EXTREME), are in the process of mixing their debut album for a tentative early 2006 release. The group, whose lineup is rounded out by Gabrielle, completed the recent album recordings with a combination of live playing and programming. A label deal is expected to be inked shortly. Check out a photo of the new band at AintNoRight.com.

... but the dude f-ing rocks! Even though I miss his old "rock" days when he played the shit out of the guitar, he still is up there with the best of them. I really wish he would do a solo album of nothing but shredding.

Oh yeah, and Perry has never looked good. Dude, eat something!!!!!!!!!!!!!

has always looked sickly, like a cancer patient or something. I think he's a vegan or something and those people NEVER look healthy.

But I look forward to what comes out of this. I never cared much for Extreme as a band, (the singer - can't think of his name - just ruined it for me for some reason, then to make things worse, he got involved with Van Halen then helped get that fuck-bucket Sully from Godsmack off the ground, fucking clown) Anyway, Nuno needs to get back into something, he's been in hiding for too long.

Perry is a weird motherfucker, but he has an aura about him that reflects in his music, and for the most part, he's worth listening to.

since Extreme he released a solo album, and 2 albums with Mourning Widows... and a couple with Population 1.

One of my favorite guitar players.
Definitely underrated.

I wish him so much luck!

i thought we'd be getting a new album from pop-1 soon? why join up with farrell... to get on the radio? i guess this pushes an extreme back a few notches again...

then again, this could flop like the second coming of zwan...

COMMENT | Anything from ferrel will get attention...

...even if it's short-lived.

I should check out some of the other stuff Nuno did. Is it a different direction from Extreme at least?

"Is it a different direction from Extreme at least?"

VERY.

Everything Nuno have done since Extreme is a guitar driven rock.

nuno rejects extreme reunion to join up with this no talent loser? sorry all it took was a half listen to been caught stealing to turn me off ja. extreme was a kick ass band and it's not thier fault radio only played that 1 wimpy song by them. nuno's solo cd sucked major ass and i was hoping he would see the light and get back with extreme, o well after this flops maybe he will. and molotov what the hell are you smoking? the crue kicks this no name band of yours ass! they don't even belong in the same sentance with the crue and gnr, not big revolver fan but they are way better than crappy band you keep yelling about
