KISS: First Three Albums To Be Released As Three-CD Set - May 3, 2005
According to a post on KissOnline.com, Universal Music will release the first three KISS albums ("Kiss", "Hotter than Hell" and "Dressed to Kill") as a three-CD set in the U.S. on June 21.

As previously reported, KISS frontman Paul Stanley has collaborated with Boston-based THE CLICK FIVE on the track "Angel to You (Devil to Me)", which is set to appear on THE CLICK FIVE's debut CD, "Greetings From Imrie House", due on August 2 via Lava.

Stanley reportedly co-wrote the track with THE CLICK FIVE keyboardist Ben Romans at Stanley's home studio. The song also features a guest appearance by Elliott Easton of THE CARS.

this years ago. I remember I was working in a record store in the early 90s and we sold four-disc sets. It was just four Kiss Cds in a big hard plastic square.

It was the first 3 albums put in one sleeve. They called it "The Originals".

Hope Ace and Peter get their cut of it

So these aging drag queens figure out another way to repackage the exact same stuff AGAIN in a new effort to milk clowns like kissrules out of their milk money. Didn't these guys used to be a rock band? Pathetic.

Just another way for them to re-package something old and make it seem like it's new. Unbelievable. Do they really need the money that bad?

Oh goodie. And maybe a Best of album. I hope they release one of those soon. Its not like having the same song 15 times is ever enough.

You are right and what some people are missing is that Universal Music are the ones releasing this and not KISS. I have the Originals record so that is good enough for me.

COMMENT | Actually I'm glad that there's going to be a re-release...

of the three album Originals set.

I bought the 3 record set way back in high school and wore it out years ago.

If they stick with the original (no pun intended) format along with the booklet, cards and other goodies it should be pretty decent.

Thanks my opinion, yours may differ

COMMENT | Trivia.....how many official releases have Rock & Roll All Night on it?

You can count the Dressed to Kill, Originals, Box Set, Double Platinum, Alive, all the current live CDs & compilations, Killers, etc. It is pathetic. I am a KISS fan. Please retire now.

...but i think a lot of all these 'greatest hits' and compilations are put out by the record company and not the band. as someone else pointed out KISS hasn't been with universal for a while now.

Here we go again...is this set of three albums going to have bonus tracks, etc? If not, then (like the 5 CD box set) is a waste of time. Where's all of this unreleased audio/video, etc?
