NINE INCH NAILS: 'With Teeth' Tops BILLBOARD Album Chart

NINE INCH NAILS have sold 271,563 copies of their latest release, "With Teeth", in the United States in its first week of release to debut at No. 1 on next week's The Billboard 200 chart.
"With Teeth" was recorded in part at Sound City Studio in Van Nuys, Ca., and features a guest appearance on drums by former NIRVANA drummer/current FOO FIGHTERS frontman Dave Grohl. Mixing duties were handled by Alan Moulder (THE CURE, SMASHING PUMPKINS).
Trent Reznor and the new NINE INCH NAILS lineup — guitarist Aaron North, bassist Jeordie White (A PERFECT CIRCLE, ex-MARILYN MANSON), keyboardist Allesandro Cortini and drummer Jerome Dillon — will perform at the 2005 MTV Movie Awards, which will be taped on June 4 (the show will air June 9). NIN will roll out the band's current single, "The Hand That Feeds", from their first album release in half a decade, "With Teeth".

ahh...close-minded Blabbermouth fucks....this CD is incredible, and hopefully it'll sell more than The Fragile (which sold ONLY 1 million....thats nothing by NIN standards)...it deserves it.

I am not that much of a fan, but I tried to get into the new album and it just plain blows. There are maybe 1 or 2 decent songs and those are the singles.
I asked this girl I know who is the biggest fan of NIN I have met what she thought. And, she pretty much said the same thing. This album is too conservative and musically does nothing. I am surprised Grohl couldn't get more out of Rezner.

I haven't heard the whole thing yet but the 1st single, "Nite the Hand that Feeds" is a real fuckin' turd.' Trent's vocals sound shitty and slapped together and the disco beat has got to go. It's no "Terrible Lie", that's for fuckin' sure.

the new album isn't all that bad, in fact it's pretty good.
Look at it this way, at least Limp Bizkit didnt have the top seller thanks to Trent. That alone gets boku-points in my book. I'll take NIN over Limp Bizkit anyday, hands-down!

ive been a NIN fan for quite a while, this album is loads better than the fragile, and should easily pass a million sold............
yeah it does suck that people are only flocking because trent is in like every rock related magazine, but when a band isn't releasing anything in 5 years, they try to go for a "nostalgia" kick
the album is growing on me.... defintely alot easier than the fragile, but still this isn't anything as brutal as pretty hate machine, or downward spiral.............
but, trent has acknowledged his demons, and supposedly become clean....... plus if u see the hand that feeds video, it seems he is a bit buff, and from those that have seen the concerts, he seems to have fun.... so maybe he is just having fun doing what he does best.....

Its funny how you got all these monkey's running around now, posting here even, saying shit like "Oh my sister is the biggest NIN fan and thinks this album is crap" or "My next door neighbors best friend is the biggest NIN fan and he hates this disc" or "My uncle's adopted asian child's third cousin is the biggest NIN fan this side of the stratosphere and he thinks the new album is junk" You got all these morons coming out of the woodwork spouting off how they know the biggest NIN fan and that they hate the new album. Yet you had the same shit going on when The Fragile came out. So by all indications, this album shouldn't have sold ten copies. Yet there it is, with a hefty amount of sales, number 1 on the charts. People are so full of shit. Tell ya what, I am the biggest NIN fan around, i loved The Fragile, and I think the new album is even better. So there you have it.
