Ex-GUNS N' ROSES Guitarist IZZY STRADLIN: New Studio Album On The Way? - May 17, 2005

Izzy Stradlin's (ex-GUNS N' ROSES) longtime collaborator Rick Richards of the GEORGIA SATELLITES has revealed to Stradlin fan site www.izzy.34sp.com that his latest collaboration with Izzy was recorded in Miami at Criteria Studios and is currently in the mixing stage.

However, when speaking about a possible release date for the "project," Rick was less clear. He said, "[The album] should be released one of these days." No further information is currently available.

	That guy rules as a songwriter...I nearly bought the Ju Ju Hounds album the other day (pretty cool). It would be amazing if he rejoined Velvet Revolver and helped turn it into something great (he is the only guitarist Slash has ever properly gelled with IMO)

	Izzy is about the only good thing going to come out of that Gnr breakup. Axl cant get a record out and VR's album wasnt what i thought it would be. If record companies we're smart they would spend a little more money on getting Izzies records out, then ride on his back for awile to get out of this debt they keep talking about. He wrote most of the stuff for GnR anyway.
