JOHN CORABI Confirms He Will Tour With RATT This Summer - May 17, 2005
Guitarist/singer John Corabi's (MÖTLEY CRÜE, THE SCREAM, UNION, ERIC SINGER PROJECT, RATT, CARDBOARD VAMPYRES) fan site www.john-corabi.com has been updated with the following message:

"I just got off the phone with John and he wanted to pass on a few things.

"For the past few days he has been in Nashville writing songs with a few different songwriters. He IS touring with RATT this summer as a guitar player, Jizzy [Pearl] will do the vocals, After his commitment with RATT he may do some CARDBOARD VAMPYRES dates.

"As for the recent interview, he wanted to make sure it is clear, he is NOT going after anyone including MÖTLEY CRÜE, he is just seeking an accounting from the record companies involved with his past recordings. His biography, written with Jake Brown, is almost finished too."

I lovw corabi's voice but you people who love that cd he did with the crue must not be crue fans. it simply was not a motley cd period. it sounded nothing like the crue and did not sell because of it. the cd he did with the band the scream was a kick ass cd and he needs to make another one with them or something that sounds like that. it's sad seeing him tour with a fake ratt or any other band that is not his own.

I hate to think of this guy just playing guitar for some shitty band. John has a great voice. Most people who bash Motley Crue surely never gave the record he sang on a fair try.

You are right in that the Crue album with Corabi was not a Crue album at all... that was the problem. That album kicked all sorts of ass, but they should have put it out under another band name. It might not have sold well even then because of the whole grunge debacle, but for history's sake, it would have been better for the Motley Crue name because it sounded nothing like the traditional Crue sound. Corabi is just a great musician and I wish that he would do more than tour with this silly RATT lineup.

I was hoping John was going to record this summer with Jerry Cantrell not tour some half assed version of RATT. ( Probably a better version bwe).............

No props for Love/Hate? When I saw Jizzy/JOhn with Ratt a year ago I said something to him about Love/Hate. "Wow. Someone rmembers that!" was his reply.
