MESHUGGAH Re-Sign With NUCLEAR BLAST RECORDS

Swedish experimental extreme metallers MESHUGGAH have reportedly re-signed with Nuclear Blast Records. The group's new studio album, "Catch 33" (the band's final CD under their previous contract), is scheduled for release in the U.S. on May 31 via Nuclear Blast. The follow-up to 2002's "Nothing" is being described as one continuous 47-minute song divided into 13 parts and is said to be "musically the opposite" of the group's 2004 EP, "I".
In other news, MESHUGGAH drummer Tomas Haake placed third in the "Best Metal Drummer" category in the 2005 Modern Drummer magazine Readers' Poll (the top spot went to SHADOWS FALL's Jason Bittner).
MESHUGGAH have hinted in recent interviews that they may embark on a U.S. tour in the fall. At press time, no American dates have yet been announced.

i hope to god these guys come to fucking florida for once...by the way tomas haake is WAAAAAAYYYY better than jason bittner, even though bittner can play the skins pretty well. i dont know who the fuck voted him first, but oh well.

Why mess with something good? Meshuggah and Nuclear Blast go hand in hand. My copy of Catch 33 should be in my mail this week and I look forward to seeing them live here in the US this fall!

But he should've been number one.
I don't like Shadows Fall but they're excellent musicians and their drummer surely is top notch....Haake is clearly from another galaxy compared to most metal drummers though.
Meshuggah rule.

Tom used the samples from Drumkit from Hell 2 (all of the samples are of him hitting the skins) on Catch 33, and it sounds sick. I Fucking want thoses samples, I'd just sit at my computer and make meshuggah beats all day
