GOREFEST: Back Catalog To Be Reissued
- May 31, 2005
On July 18, Nuclear Blast Records will be reissuing the entire GOREFEST back catalog, complete with unreleased tracks, demos and other rarities. The following three two-CD sets are currently scheduled for release:
Everything will be remastered, and booklets will contain liner notes by renowned Dutch journalist and writer Robert Haagsma, along with many pics from the band's own private stash. In addition, Nuclear Blast will throw in a cool box in which to store all the CDs from the collection.
GOREFEST recently inked a multi-album deal with Nuclear Blast Records. The band are currently writing songs for what will reportedly be "a very heavy new album." A late 2005/early 2006 release is expected.
GOREFEST issued several CDs through the Nuclear Blast label in the early 1990s before switching to SPV for their last album, 1998's "Chapter 13".

I dont know but when i bought the "Live In Eindhoven" the selection was good.True Death Metal but then when i saw the clip for "Erase", i like the transformation that they had (more like Carcass' Swansong).
Guess i'm gonna buy the "False" & "Erase" catalogue!!!

Mindloss and False are both amazing! Erase not too bad but they started to change their sound a bit by then... still a good record but a bit less death metal and a bit more slower and groove oriented... probably considered to be nu-metal if it came out today though it is heavier than that for sure. Soul Survivor and Chapter 13 well they pretty much sucked and the band should have just changed their name since it is totally different music all together from where they began.

Mindloss came out before False but is listed as 96... nice typo there guys... Mindloss is their first album and did not come out after Erase. Where is Eindoven Insanity??? That was a decent little live album... hope its in the bonus stuff.
