The Roisin Dubh Trust has announced that the statue in Dublin to the late guitar legend
Phil Lynott of
THIN LIZZY will be officially unveiled the weekend of August 19-20, 2005.
The unveiling of the life size-bronze statue will take place in the late evening once all trading has ceased for the day, in the very busy trade and tourist area of Grafton Street in Dublin on Friday, August 19.
On Saturday, August 20,
"The Boy Is Back In Town" (the statue unveiling tribute to the life and music of
Philip Lynott) will take place at the Point in Dublin. The following are confirmed to perform at this event:
