HATER: Former SOUNDGARDEN Bassist Announces West Coast Tour Dates

HATER, the band featuring Ben Shepherd (SOUNDGARDEN, MARCH OF CRIMES), Andrew Church (BROADCAST OBLIVION, THE DROO CHURCH), Bubba Dupree (THE VOID, MOBY) and Andy Duvall (ZEN GUERRILLA), will be hitting the road this August. The group will be pulling out material from both HATER records as well as some brand new material. Confirmed dates so far are as follows:
Aug. 07 - San Francisco, CA @ Thee Parkside Aug. 10 - Glendale, CA @ The Scene Aug. 11 - Long Beach, CA @ Alex's Bar Aug. 12 - Hollywood, CA @ The Knitting Factory Aug. 13 - San Jose, CA @ The Blank Club
HATER released their second album, entitled "The 2nd", this past April via Burn Burn Burn Records.
The material, which was recorded between the SOUNDGARDEN albums "Superunknown" (1994) and "Down on the Upside" (1996), was mixed by Shepherd.
In addition to Shepherd and ex-SOUNDGARDEN drummer Matt Cameron, "The 2nd" features guest spots by MONSTER MAGNET/WELLWATER CONSPIRACY principal John McBain, MARK LANEGAN BAND bassist Alan Davis, RED DRESS drummer Greg Keplinger, DEVILHEAD's Brian Wood and MINISTRY/R.E.M. drummer Bill Rieflin.

Ben Sheppered is a brilliant songwriter, and a very original bass player. I'll be happy to get my hands on this.

I still like the first one the best myself. One of my favorite cds to this day.

soundgarden......whatever happened to them.......whats kim thayial(sp) doing now.I think he played guitar for them?

What does this band sound like anyway?
I heard of this years ago but never followed it up.
