DISTURBED: '10,000 Fists' Track Listing Revealed

According to Billboard.com, DISTURBED have set the track listing for their third album, "10,000 Fists", tentatively due September 20 via Warner Bros. A track entitled "Guarded" was released to U.S. rock and metal stations this week, and will also be included on a sampler distributed at this summer's Ozzfest. The band's fully promoted first single, "Stricken", will hit radio at the end of July. The title track will be featured in the Electronic Arts football video game "Madden 2006". DISTURBED will spend much of the rest of this year and next on the road. The group will begin a six-week tour the first week of August and in November, will headline the Jagermeister tour, which will be limited to House of Blues venues, with multiple nights at each stop. haha im not saying it should be a law or everyone must follow it.
its just that alot of times bands end up putting filler on albums cause a cd can hold that much space, when theyd be better off cutting some songs off.

When the average metal song is all of 3:30 minutes long, I like to see them try to fill the album. Hell, even if it's filler, let me decide whether or not the songs are great or shit. I remember Danzig saying that he usually writes something like 25 songs whenever he sits down to write an album, and then chooses the best half of those to put on the album. And then you buy the album, listen to it, and realize that half of those suck ass. Always makes me curious to hear what he just threw in the trash. So, I'd much rather see a band pack that CD, even if half of it is shit. At least give me the option to pick and choose and maybe get 30 minutes of decent music from a CD, as opposed to finding 2 or 3 songs - less than 10 minutes - on a 30-minute album that are decent. That shit is the reason people download and steal songs rather than buy the CDs.

i like to get my money's worth when i buy a CD. the worst is bands like downthesun who only have 11 songs and then half of them are filler anyway with no singing and only go for 1 minute.
this band sucks even there first cd sucked

Firstly, I would like to say, the new song is awesome!
Secondly, I would like to say Disturbed will NEVER stop doing what they are doing! Get off of you fucking high horses and get a clue! They're gonna be here in 2005 and 2006 and 2007 and so on and so forth. Like I stated before, they won't stop!
Thirdly, David's voice has gotten stronger. He doesn't do animalistic sounds...only on The Sickness. They band has improved a lot.

I don't understand why people hate this band. In fact I don't get why people hate nu-metal so much. Yes "Classic" metal (As I call it now) is better but not all nu-metal is this abomination that people think it is. Bands such as DISTURBED, KORN, SYSTEM OF A DOWN, & STATIC-X are not bad bands. These are the bands that I personally like to kick back and just listen to and relax. Believe it or not it's alright to like these type of bands along with bands such as SLAYER, ANTHRAX, SHADOWS FALL, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, IRON MAIDEN, JUDAS PRIEST, BLACK SABBATH, IN FLAMES, ERC. ETC. . Besides what's up with labeling music anyway. My pilosophy (I think tha;s how you spell it) is if it's good then it's good. People should open their minds more. Hell i used to be just like all you "die hards" now as I've gotten older I realized the world will not come to an end if you like "real Metal" (SLAYER, KsE, SHADOWS FALL) "Nu-Metal (KORN, DISTURBED, STATIC-X, S.O.A.D) & even bands like The Used, MCR, Senses Fail, Underoath, and stuff like that. Maybe I'm just old but I just don't find this stuff as bad as people say it is.

Thats was definitely full on metal. Brutal vocals, brutal guitar. Yeah the second record sucked I'll give you that all day, but the first was one the finist pieces of metal delivered in a long time. Kicked all last 10 yrs of Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax, Slayer, etc.

I have seen them 2 times. They have such intencity to thier shows. I NEVER come home exausted from a concert, but from theirs, I passed out as soon as I came home! Also, David has EVERY right to be serious, he's fronting a group, he's the one that speaks to the croud, he's the one that is bearing his soul to millions of people every day! I mean, what do you want from a singer? To be like Corey Taylor? A dumbass? Or do you want him to be like Brett Michaels? I mean, seriously!

disturbed is a great band in my mind... may not be in yours but that is your choice...
if you do not like disturbed then why oh why have you read this... and why do you even give a shit if they have a new cd coming out...

I also get the feeling that many of you have not really listened to disturbed. So you've heard a couple songs on the radio or something. That doesn't mean you know enough about their music to make a judgment. And even still - even if you decide you still don't like the band - there's no need to insult anyone who likes it.
In any case - to all those who said "people who like disturbed are gay" -
WELL be that the case, then slap me with a strap on and take me to the booby bar because i f***ing LOVE disturbed!!!! :D
Now, regarding the new music - Guarded is a good piece, maybe not quite comparable to a few other songs but it is excellent nonetheless. I look forward to the new album.
