Was ok... Thirteen Ways was much better. Hope this one turns out good, they are one of the few nu-metal bands that interest me.

13 ways was good... year of the spider was good... i'm a little concerned about this one though. "happens all the time" is...nowhere near in the same league as "stupid girl," "no one," or "just got wicked."

i wonder if that's a result of this old guitarist returning after...what was his name? terry? joined evanescence.

After hearing "Happens All the Time" and "A Different Kind of Pain" and then looking at all those titles, I have a feeling this is going to be a very mellow, sedate album, with predominantly ballad-y tunes. Not necessarily a bad thing, since I loved those songs on Year of the Spider, considering them some of the more heartfelt and emotional songs in the rock/metal genre in a long time, but I think Cold is going to catch even more flak for betraying through grittier, anger-tinged roots. They've sort of gone from metal to rock to easy listening.
