SOULFLY: D-Low Memorial Concert Planned In August - July 11, 2005

According to a posting at SoulfyWeb.com, Luckyman Concerts has confirmed that the 9th annual D-Low Memorial Festival will take place at the Marquee Theatre in Tempe, Arizona on August 12. The D-Low show, which is held every year in memorial of SOULFLY frontman Max Cavalera's stepson Dana "D-Low" Wells who was killed in a 1996 car wreck (article), is SOULFLY's biggest show of the year and draws fans from all over the United States. Last year, SOULFLY filmed portions of their "The Song Remains Insane" DVD at the event. You can go to the Luckyman's web site to purchase tickets for the show.

SOULFLY's new album, "Dark Ages", is scheduled for release on September 13 via Roadrunner Records.

The follow-up to 2004's "Prophecy", "Dark Ages" (view cover here) was produced by SOULFLY mainman Max Cavalera and was mixed by Terry Date, who has previously worked with PANTERA and DEFTONES, among others.

	I am a Phoenix resident, shit I probably went to school with the gang banger that did this shit. I went to school with all the wetbacks from LCM. I went to a D-low memorial benefit a couple of years ago. Man, it's a great cause, and a great show. I'm a big sepultura/soulfly fan, and it's great to live in Phoenix. They have the most soulfly shows out of anywhere. Rest in peace Dana REST IN PISS DIRTY LCM WETBACK, HOPE JUSTICE AND KARMA GET'S YOU BACK, WETBACK!!!!

	August 12th is me and my wife's five year wedding anniversary. And we are definitly goin to that concert that night. It's going to be great. I think I'm going to stay sober for this one. Last soulfly show I went to i was so wasted.....man I don't even hardly remember seeing soulfly.... that kinda sucked ass.
