PAPA ROACH To Perform On 'The Tonight Show With Jay Leno'

Launch Radio Networks reports: PAPA ROACH will perform on NBC-TV's "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" this Friday, July 15. The group will perform its recent single, "Scars", on an outdoor stage. PAPA ROACH is currently on a break from touring, but will hit the road again on August 6 in Salt Lake City, Utah, kicking off a six-week road trip with 311 and UNWRITTEN LAW.
PAPA ROACH will warm up for its tour with 311 by playing a headlining show on August 5 at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas.
The California-based band recently released a third single, called "Take Me", from its 2004 album, "Getting Away With Murder". The record has sold nearly 761,000 copies since its release last fall.

Sucks dick....one of the worst bands ever...with nice Iron Maiden (Genghis Khan) rip offs...they stole the riff without even changing it a bit, on they're first single they released a couple o' years ago......shame on them...they suck anyways!!

Papa Roach, like them or not, I gotta give them credit. When they put out this album, I was sure it was going to flop but they have had major success with it. It's good to see a band outlive a trend that they were once a part of, so for that, I give them props. You can all start with your "OMG, Papa Roach is gAy, and ur gAy for likeing them! lOlz!!!" But I don't really give a shit, I'm just glad to see a band having success with the state the music industry is in right now.

it's one thing to just not like their music,but when I saw an interview clip where their singer was asked what the considered themselves as (musically) he said "Well we aren't metal. I truly apologize for insinuating in the past that Jay Leno is stuck in 1998. Clearly with bringing in Papa Roach as a musical guest Leno's finally come into the new millennium and is now only 5 years behind what was even remotely deemed as cool. By 2008 he'll be letting us in on this little-known band called Audioslave.
Jay Leno truly has the pulse of the nation. *sarcasm mode off*

They had this free concert in Baltimore with Hed Pe and Papa Roach. We went for Hed Pe, but left for Papa Roach; The funny part is we didn't even stay for them even though it was free

why do posters here always assume if you bash a band its because one is jealous of all the pussy they have that we'll never get in a lifetime or that they make more money in a week than all of us(posters) will make in a lifetime?
quite frankly its true that they will get more pussy in a lifetime than most of us and they will probably have more money in a week than most of us make in a year. but that has nothing to do with the fact that papa roach is a 3rd rate band that somehow survived the nu-metal death. im actually surprised that they actually sold close to a million copies actually i thought this kind of music died a while ago. still much respect to them for surviving this death, while still making bad music
