GODSMACK: New Song To Be Featured On 'Madden 06' Video Game

A brand-new GODSMACK track, entitled "Bring It On", will be featured on the new installment of EA Sports' popular video game series, Madden. Madden 06 comes out August 6 and you can pre-order it here. Other bands expected to appear on Madden 06 include AVENGED SEVENFOLD ( "Bat Country"), DISTURBED ( "Ten Thousand Fists"), FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND ( "Streetcar") and FOO FIGHTERS ( "No Way Back"). GODSMACK are one of the featured acts on the upcoming "Rockin' The Corps" DVD and audio CD, due on September 6 via Image Entertainment. The DVD will include performances from the "Rockin' The Corps" concert — held on April 1 at Camp Pendleton, a U.S. military base near San Diego, for nearly 50,000 U.S. Marines and their families — as well as backstage footage and other exclusive content. The CD will feature an exclusive bonus DVD with content from the show and behind the scenes footage.

Nu-Metal was SO PREVELANT in Madden last year. You guys are fucking retards. And Cryptopsy would ruin any video game, unless of course they shut out the shit vocals and the hooribly predictable andd trite lyrics.

You fucking retards wouldn't know good music if it came up and knocked your ass out. Godsmack does not suck. If any of you fucks ever went to a Godsmack show you would know that give you everything that they have got. If you pukes would listen to more than the 30 sec clip from the navy commercial you would also know that their cd's arent bad.
Instead of constantly putting shit down why don't you give a reason why "they suck". Then you would at least have a valid reason for what you are saying.

At one point in my life, before I came to my senses, I owned two Godsmack albums. Apparently there was a point in time where I wouldn't be overcome with blinding shame to bring that type of nonsense up the counter. As hard as I try, I can't quite put myself back in the mindset I must have had when I purchased them. I think I was just drawn in by the AIC title they conveniently took. They sucked me right in. I just remember the horror of trying to sell back their first album and their "Awake" album at the local Newbury Comics. I almost felt compelled to explain to the girl behind the counter that they were a gift, but I figured she'd see right through that. So I just put my head down and hoped for some type of return. As she looked the albums over, barely hiding a grin, she informed me that they wouldn't be able to accept them. As if the experience wasn't mortifying enough, now I have to walk back out with the same two Godsmack albums again. I immediately became aware that people who see me walking towards the exit will automatically assume that I had just purchased these albums. The sense of panic was nearly overwhelming. I just pray nobody else ever has to deal with this type of atrocity.

I saw them open for Metallica in November. I have endured an hour of Godsmack. The only enjoyable part is when the singer shut his fucking mouth, the guitarist went away, and the drummer did a great 15 or so minute drum solo. The music is boring, monotonous, and mundane. I don't honestly know what you could find so enjoyable about the same drop d chords being recycled through every god damn song they play. But whatever. Keep listening to shit music. You're making these tools very rich men.

Madden sucks ass. EA finally gets competiton (that they publically "welcomed") in NFL 2K5 and they go and buy it up as they do with the rest of the video game industry.
As far as the song, look at it this way. Would you rather have so called "shitty" (coughOPINIONcough) nu-metal bands, or a bunch of fucking gay rap music?

God Crap dies in horrible plane crash. No one will be remembered as the band was quite mediocre and cliche. Oh and they sold all their songs out for TV commercials and video games.
I do remember Sully saying that he was a wiccan....what a creepy gimmick to make straight laced white chicks buy their album.
