ADEMA Pull Out Of DAYS OF RECKONING FESTIVAL - July 30, 2005
ADEMA have cancelled their appearance at the Days of Reckoning Festival, a predominantly death- and black-metal festival which is scheduled to be held July 30-31 at The Saint in Asbury Park, NJ. A statement posted by the festival organizers at www.myspace.com/dorfest reads, "We regret to inform you that ADEMA will NO LONGER be performing on Saturday due to circumstances beyond our control. Apologies to anyone who was looking forward to their performance."

Why are they on Earache?
Why are they booking shows with death metal bands?
If they want to be accepted by the metal scene, they should play metal, not shitty sub-Nickelback radio crap.

Although labeling does have a negative side its the best system for being able to determine whether you want to give a band the time of day. Let's face it, there are way too many bands out there to listen to them all. You narrow down to a few specific genres you like and then sample from that. I know its the cool cliche thing to say "fuck labels" and such but they are quite necessary.
