DEICIDE To Perform 'Surprise' Show In Seoul, Korea

Long-running Floridian death metallers DEICIDE will be performing a "surprise" club show at the Rolling Hall in Seoul, Korea on August 8. This will be DEICIDE's first-ever appearance in Seoul. Support at the gig will come from local acts SAHON and DOXOLOGY.
As previously reported, DEICIDE have been confirmed for the fifth annual Busan Rock Festival, set to take place August 5-7, 2005 in Busan, South Korea. DEICIDE will make their Korean live debut on Saturday, August 6. Also scheduled to perform at the festival POWERMAN 5000, DOMAIN, VASSLINE and CRASH.
DEICIDE's lineup for the Korean concerts will be as follows:
Glen Benton - Bass/Vocals
Steven Asheim - Drums
Jack Owen (ex-CANNIBAL CORPSE) - Guitar
Ralph Santolla (ex-ICED EARTH, DEATH, SEBASTIAN BACH) - Guitar

If you cancel 90% of your shows, it's cool to go ahead and announce logistically difficult, highly volatile shows like this. Hell, I hope they make it, but it would be a suprise if they could fulfill a simple show in Tampa booked a year in advance.

Well the sorry thing about bands these days (besides the ones that try to propagate nuclear warfare) is that theres just no balls and whistles. Its just some religious derivation they need when all else fails. Its not like "Judgement Day" has a sequel. . . yet. And further more to expand the horizon . . . smoking weed can cause cancer. They just haven't come up with a good enough name for it yet. Yet that's just business as usual. Lame, frizzy and self centered. So the best thing is to call them out on their most obvious assumption and that of such delusional children. They need Jesus in their lives.

Santolla is the only real musician in that lineup, and his time was better spent with Iced Earth. DEISUCK is more like it.

I wouldn't venture to call Owen and Santolla scabs, they have both played with some of the best death metal bands in history like DEATH and CANNIBAL CORPSE, who by the way only keep getting better.
Deicide were great in Montreal, on point and intense. Steve is a maniac on drums still, great shape and stamina. They have released enough landmark death metal albums to call it quits on the recording end of things. Even Scars Of The Crucifix was intense. Keep playing shows, I don't care who's on guitar, and I'll keep going.

Good to see so many people who still know nothing about anything. Santolla sucks...can't play a solo worth shit. Most of the time you can't even hear Owen and Benton doesn't even turn his bass on at shows anymore. Deicide sucks anymore...it's as simple as that...but you can go on believeing that they are still good...my advice is to actually learn a little about music and then make a comment. BRING BACK THE HOFFMAN'S!
