Legendary Drummer CARLO LITTLE Passes Away - Aug. 14, 2005

According to Deep-Purple.net, legendary 1960s rock'n roll drummer Carlo Little sadly passed away on Saturday, August 6 after a bravely fought battle with lung cancer. Carlo had strong roots in the DEEP PURPLE family tree, having played with Ritchie Blackmore and Nick Simper in SCREAMING LORD SUTCH'S SAVAGES, and with Jon Lord and Nick Simper in THE FLOWERPOT MEN, to name but a few. 	Maybe they say "brave" because I'm sure facing any illness that could be terminal isn't something that's easily done. There are many reasons people with cancer are called "brave", and they do have a choice. They can either act like they've been handed a death sentence and wallow in sorrow until they expire...or they can face it living the rest of their lives to the fullest. You always have a choice.
