NEBULA Complete Work On New Studio Album
- Aug. 15, 2005
Cosmic rockers NEBULA have completed their much-anticipated follow-up to "Atomic Ritual". The band enlisted the help of producer Daniel Rey (THE RAMONES, MISFITS) to record "the most dynamic and diverse NEBULA opus yet," according to a press release. The band is currently in mixing and mastering phases and an early 2006 release via Liquor and Poker Music is expected.
NEBULA set the extreme sports world on fire when the played at this year's X-Games at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The band kicked out jams from all their albums and played amazing covers of BLACK FLAG and IGGY AND THE STOOGES songs. The X-Games fans were in awe and the heat proved to be the catalyst for one of NEBULA's most memorable live performances to date. The band will begin a tour next month that will have a stop at this year's CMJ Music Marathon. The guys will also be playing the Sunset Junction Street Fair on August 28 in Silverlake, CA. with the mighty NEW YORK DOLLS and EAGLES OF DEATH METAL.

Hmm, I'll have to check it out... I bought a copy of Atomic Ritual on a whim (okay, it was at a yard sale for .50) but never got around to listening to it.
