NEIL PEART's Anniversary Drum Kit To Hit The Road - Aug. 16, 2005
According to a posting on the RUSH fan site Power Windows, Sabian Cymbals and DW Drums will be presenting RUSH drummer Neil Peart's 30th anniversary drum set in an exclusive tour across America. Each drum clinic will be hosted by Lorne Wheaton, who has worked with Neil Peart. More information is available at Rush.com.

In other news, RUSH's music will be featured in a new video game/interactive movie called "Darkstar". The following songs will be featured in the feature-length sci-fi film that serves as back-story to the project: "Anthem", "Bastille Day", "The Twilight Zone", "Cygnus X-1", "Cygnus X-1 Book II", "Tom Sawyer", "YYZ", "The Camera Eye", "Witch Hunt", "Vital Signs", "Subdivisions", "Red Sector A", "The Enemy Within", "Red Lenses", "Mystic Rhythms", "Manhattan Project", "Time Stand Still", "Test for Echo", "Time and Motion", "Limbo", "One Little Victory" and "Nocturne". It's a drum clinic you fool. Lorne Wheaton, Peart's drum tech, is conducting a clinic tour, which is like a really cool class or some other. I will definitely try to be there Sept. 20th in Hollywood , me being a drummer and lovin Neil Peart and all.

I know, but it's funny how they are promoting the drum kit more than the tech... at least that's how I first read it. I'm a rush fan and a peart fan, just a funny story.... it seemed like it says "hey, it's neil peart's drum kit, oh yeah, his tech is going to be there too"
