ALICE COOPER On World Tour With Blood, Gore, Goth And A Chihuahua? - Aug. 19, 2005
ALICE COOPER, the master rocker in the theatre of the macabre and inspiration to such hard rock and metal artists as KISS, OZZY OSBOURNE, MARILYN MANSON, SLIPKNOT and others, hasn't lost his edge or his wit. As he kicked off his world tour in Australia last month in support of his new CD, "Dirty Diamonds", released in the U.S. August 2, the man who made summer vacation an anthem for students everywhere unveiled a new character in his show: a killer Chihuahua. And if that doesn't conjure up enough strange images, what's on the end of those little needle-like teeth may. Paris Hilton's precious Tinkerbell has finally reached the end of her Swarovski crystal-encrusted collar and leash. Sick of the endless parties, red carpets and preening for the media, the killer canine is teaching Ms. Hilton a lesson she'll not soon forget. During the show, Tinkerbell goes postal and sinks her choppers into Paris' throat. In true ALICE COOPER fashion, it's a bloody mess, as ALICE looks on with a knowing grin. Leave it to COOPER to rip the throat out of vapid celebrity culture. And who gets to portray Paris Hilton in ALICE COOPER's theatre of the bizarre? His 24-year-old daughter Calico, of course. Dark, gory fun runs in the family.

The guy only started the horror show with his music. Just cause he's grown up spiritually and politically doesn't mean he deserves any bashing.

I love Alice, not bashing. Just seems ironic that he's playing the Budweiser Center and he's a recovered alcoholic.

Four State Fairs out of these dates with Cheap Trick plus 20 more solo isn't alot.

TBJ, that was a stupid comment. HE TOURS EVERY FUCKING YEAR AND HAS PRACTICALLY FOR THE PAST 35 YEARS. Yeah sounds like he's low on cash doesn't he? Idiot.

Sorry but I can't see why people think it's unusual that people play state fairs. It provides a venue for CONCERTS.

Well DUH you don't like Alice Cooper if you are a big black metal fan. Alices next album will probably be different. Everyone liked the old sogns , so he goes back to basics and now it is not cool. Alice is the man and it would be funny to watch that. No matter what people say Alice will rule rock forever.

the hollywood vampires a drunken bunch of musician's what a
crew they were john lennon , keith moon , ringo starr,
harry nilsson , They use to go to clubs in los angeles and
drink until they got thrown out regardless of their celebrity!
this man has drank more beer and lived a very hard life and
if he did not quit he certainly would not be alive today the only
guy other than alice from the hollywod vampires thats still alive
is ringo, This man partied with everyone from legendary dead
movie stars to presidents and did it with a 16ounce budweiser
can in his hand ! Discovered By frank zappa and signed to
straight records even though he was drunk 24 hour a day
the man drank with jim morrison and he is still with us today.
and wrote rock anthems that are timeless the killers album
,billion dollar babies , love it to death ,schools out , this man
is a living legend and should be in the rock and roll hall of
fame , I pretty much only listen to cd's from his original band
because it rocked Under my wheels is a kick ass song .

Alice needs to relax Because god knows he would BE dead now
if he didnt !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He does not mix politics and music !! and to have the career
he has had and be a preachers son ! he is going to have to beg to st. peter at the pearly gates for sure !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

everybody knows that a venue can be named after anything if a sponser throws enough money at the owners......by the same logic Alice shouldn't be performing any shows that even sells beer!Being a reformed alcolohic means facing your demons not running away from them!

4th row for Cincy tomorrow night! \m/ \m/

Hopefulyl Alices next album will be great. I found "Dirty Diamonds" a step down. "The Eyes Of Alice Cooper" was one of my favorites but "Dirty Diamonds" is just a letdown. Hopefully the whole retro rock faze will be done so he can get back to going full speed ahead.

"I don't see why people even listen to this guy anymore, his music sounds more like some crappy alternative rock band lately.
Sure he has a couple of good (older) songs, but i think that the whole shock rock crap is played, but people seem to still like it so I guess it doesn't matter.
Although i do give him props for influencing some of the theatrics that King Diamond/ Mercyful Fate and a lot of other BM bands put on."

A couple of good older songs??? You know NOTHING about rock and roll.

Alice Cooper, one week from today in Atlanta!!! I'm there!

If anyone thinks Eyes is better than DD, then maybe you don't understand Alice like you say. There was hardly anything "Alice Cooper like" about Eyes and I saw many many many Elements of "Alice Cooper" in Dirty Diamonds. Eyes was just too pop in my opinion and Alice Cooper, the guy, singing a bunch of rock and pop songs. DD found "Alice Cooper" the character coming back in I thought.
