Lincoln Journal Star is reporting that
Tommy Lee's appeal is waning — at least with the rest of the country. The
MÖTLEY CRÜE rocker’s reality show,
"Tommy Lee Goes to College", drew its smallest audience Tuesday night since debuting Aug. 16.
The fourth episode, which featured
Lee's fraternity antics on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus, drew 4.8 million viewers, according to
Nielsen Media Research.
In comparison, the premiere logged 5.2 million, episode two had 6.1 million and last week's show attracted 5.5 million.
"Tommy" again finished fourth in its 8 p.m. timeslot following
"Big Brother" (CBS, 8.2 million) and repeats of
"House" (Fox, 8 million) and
"According to Jim" (ABC, 5.8 million).
An
"NCIS" rerun was the night’s top program with 9.4 million viewers.
"Tommy" also saw a decline among viewers ages 18 to 49, the demographic advertisers target with their products. The 30-minute episode drew 2.6 million viewers in the age group compared to 3.4 million last week.
"Tommy" also dropped to fourth in the demographic, finishing behind
"According to Jim" for the first time since hitting the air.
The final two episodes are scheduled to air at 8 p.m. Tuesday and Sept. 13. The fall season begins the following week.
