Good to see an argentinian tribute gets news round the world (even if it´s only because of Di Anno). Kull, from what I know, Megadeth was going to record Rude Awakening here, but because of 9/11 and the subsequent plane phobia, they couldn´t fly here to record it. Anyway, I´m looking forward to see the mighty Deth playing here on October!!

is just a fuckin looser. I once heard him referring to Glen Danzig as a fuckup only living on his name as the frontman in The Misfits. Well, what exactly is it that Dianno does? Doesn't he tour with a big name on his posters saying "former frontman of Iron Maiden".. fuckin looser I say.

...a bootleg entitled Ferro 1997, recorded in Buenos Aires, was supposed to be an official live album, which can be guessed from its very good sound quality and from the fact that at the end of the show Dave Mustaine says: "Muchas-fucking-gracias Argentina! Listen! We wanna thank you for coming here tonight. I hope you had a great fucking time. And thank you for helping us make a live-fucking-record!"

This first Megadeth live album and a live DVD were recorded during the last two shows from the "The World Needs a Hero" tour, on November 16 in Phoenix and on November 17 in Tucson (Arizona, USA). Rude Awakening was supposed to be recorded in Buenos Aires, but it was decided to be canceled due to current political climate after September 11th terrorist attacks.
"When Sanctuary, our record company, suggested recording a live show, we managed to put in two dates in Argentina. This was earlier in the summer. The continuing events of the 11th September tragedy have weighed heavily on our families and so we have decided against the pressures of flying the band touring entourage and recording crew and equipment out of the USA at this point in time. Megadeth looks forward to visiting their South American fans as soon as possible as they have been tremendously loyal during the band's entire career." (Mustaine, 2001)

I don't care what anyone else says, Di'anno is amazing and very talented!!! I will be looking forward to hearing his song for the tribute album. The info. given by dessie, is interesting. I haven't kept up with him much these days on what's he's doing and all...but at any rate, he's still got an amazing voice and I'm intereested in hearing the new song he does! The fact that it's a Megadeth song will make it even more interesting...
